    Via NRLPhysio:

    For the Tigers:

    - John Bateman is expected to miss 8-10 weeks with a significant pec tear, silver lining is he will not require surgery
    - Stafford To’a will also miss up to 8 weeks with a hamstring injury - likely partial tear with that timeframe

NRL physio said there aren't more injuries this season than previous - an unusually high number of hammies, but must be offset by less of other types, because in totality injuries are at a similar level.

But gee they all seem fantasy relevant

This is my starting squad sorted by price, and I think others would be in a similar position:
    Cleary - got injured, twice
    Grant - NOT INJURED
    Murray - got injured
    Ponga - got injured
    Fogarty - got injured
Cheese - got injured, always carrying something
Smithies - NOT INJURED (hilariously sold him before I realised everyone else would get injured)
    Paps - got injured
    Rapana - got injured
    Wong - got dropped
Tups - got dropped, and also got injured
    Hutch - NOT INJURED
Piakura - got HIA then got injured again
Kris - did have a HIA one week
    Salmon - NOT INJURED
    Levi - shit
    Kini - got dropped
    Chan - got injured
    Burbo - got injured
    Shoes - NOT INJURED
    Strange - NOT INJURED

So 9/21 not injured, but 2 of those were dropped and aside from Grant and Smithies, all lower end players.

    Plus recruits since then injured:
Hynes, Campbell, Bateman, Plath HIA this week

Maybe more mins off the bench? I reckon he'll start this week in the second row with Pole at lock then when Ipap is back will probably he'll take up the second row with Pole at lock.

Makes me feel a little better about my Fainu trade in last week

Makes Fainu quite a bit more interesting as a trade in for sure. You'd be happy if you already had him too.

No, nothing to do with the top teams improving a player aspect. Just the simple eye test, where he looks totally different.

It's true. Coming off the bench for the Panthers he was quite lively and aggressive and his defence from memory seemed quite tough and gritty. He was nothing special but filled that role for them well and always had a dig. now it's like he's aged 10 years and is slow, weak and just no spark at all. Weird.

Sounds like Tristan Sailor is out long term with an ankle injury and Ben Te Kura's season is over from a lisfranc injury in the Qcup
