All they needed to do was beat the Cowboys on the weekend.

Where Fifita went doesn't bother me personally, but its good for RUGBA LEEG that he's staying put

Angus was pretty scathing about the way the Roosters dealt with this in an interview I saw over the weekend…..they could end up with neither.

Was just looking back at last year (thanks to MTBs team analyser) and after rd10 I had 17 trades left (+8 later).

This year I have 16 left (+8 later).

Definitely could have used a couple more trades at the very back end last year but it was a pretty good year haha so I am certainly on the side of the fence of trading more aggressively early to try and get in a good position and trying to hold on from there. In saying that I was 1st after rd10 last year but 2k this year so a little different

I also made 4 trades for rd13 last year which should not be required this year (touch wood), but then after that I slowed the trades down a lot. It gets a lot easier once the cheapies start getting replaced with more reliable players, my only concern is I'm not sure my cash is anywhere near where it was last year.

In summary I might have convinced myself into a third trade this week Laughing

You make a compelling argument. Guess I hope Teddy misses origin then, or find someone else to shift him to

Des can be very influential when he needs to be. Never thought there'd ever be another 10yr contract again before Tino re signed.

I thought I'd check mine compared to last year out of interest. Keep in mind last year was my first year.

I'd used 19 trades last year at the end of round 10 vs 18 this year.

Cash is where it gets interesting, and shows how badly I understood the game last year. At the end of the year last year my team value was 12.058m. As of round 10 this year I'm at 12.5m.

It's an uncomfortable read my trade history last year, so many players in at their peaks and out at their troughs. Point chasing at its finest

    I read this as well.

Basically said he doesn't want to be behind anyone, it's his spot (Barring injury). Sounded like he wanted out of Roosters as didn't want to play 2nd Fiddle

Well now he won't have to play second fiddle, which is fine. And the Roosters will have the cash to bring in Cobbo for a position where they actually need strengthening.

A centre. Manu will be the fullback when he comes back from Rugby. Or Ponga will. Whatever.

Looking like I am finally banking some trades this week. KPP is the only guy I will look to trade. At this point I will wait for confirmation he isn't starting and may look to go to Fainu if he stays on the bench. Sucks I have no bank or else I would probably go Nikora.
