On Trent B. Absolutely agree. Never coached a team anywhere.

Trent B isn't a great interim coach option, I'm all for Welshy to step up

Look at what Des and Flanno have done with the Titans and Dragons. They can defend their mistakes. Changes how the game is played.

Additionally, Trent B is probably the worst possible coach for the Eels right now. I'd sooner nominate somebody from this forum.

I mean, that's a pretty good option....this forum has better credentials than Barrett - look at how well our community team is going.

Jolliffe suffered a torn pec early last season in training which sidelined him for 3-4 months after surgery, no wonder he was quick to get off the field this round being familiar with a pec injury.
If it's a re-injury we can probably expect an extended stint on the sideline Sad

If Jolliffe is injured for an extended period I'll need to pick up a Middle.
The goal will be for as much bye round cover as possible.

    Currently thinking:
    Warriors - Barnet (DPP, but misses 13 & 19)
Dragons - Eisenhuth (DPP, only miss 16)
Titans - K. Haas (Edge, only miss 13)
Titans - Clarke (DPP, only miss 13)
Dogs - Curran (DPP, miss 19)

    Anyone obvious who I've missed?
Thoughts on the above. The spud may have to remain in my team for a looong time, so positional cover is a positive.

Tigers - Ipap (potential DPP if named at lock again this week)
Panthers - Sorensen (DPP, only plays 13)
Eels - Matterson (DPP, Job security questionable, but should get mins if Hopgood is selected for SOO)

i was looking at them myself (bar Eisenhuth, no interest).
Reckon I’ll wait on the titans forwards to see if either start 12/14, grabbing in 14.

If neither look promising, will hope for DPP iPap in 14, or go for Curran/Barnett.

Thankfully I’m in the rare air of not needing to trade out Joliffe this week, so I’m in no rush, luxury I guess. If I HAD to trade this week, I’d just grab Curran. Bloke is averaging well, and is an injury or two (from others) away from an 80 minute role. Big upside and priced accordingly at worst. Good DPP.

I think Waddell can hold onto that first bench rotation spot, I don't see anyone coming back soon to take that off him. Pamela and aloia don't really demand high mins. Ppm beast in the middle and first shout at edge If any centre or back rower go down... hamole could get the bench spot for nsw and his byes are good as I'm loaded for r13 players need 16s

I’m likely to go Tit for Tit. It’ll give me the cash to trade out Kris in round 14 to a player who I will be, no doubt, doing the following to over the bye period.

I’m going to wait one more week on Matterson. Just want to get an idea of how things may play out at Parra.

Do we think Cook is a slim to none chance for origin? Considering adding him to my team to cover for Brailey this week (and ideally rd 16 and 19)

I got a small brain for bye rounds and with the origin uncertainty I feel I should get Wishart. Not sure who to drop tho???

Each player not playing 13 has value later, my r14 is 1 back short.. I can't see an obvious way to avoid not playing 13 each of thr rounds.... unless going hard on trades... got 17 left is that about par?

    Coming in for Jolliffe

TU: Watson (plays Rd 13, a Robbo favourite playing 80mins)
TD: Hopgood (dual position, Origin likely)

Wishart looks like a pretty straightforward buy, like Titans Clark if named at lock.

Yes also keen to do Robson to him. Brailey and Robson have same byes and cook even at 70 odd mins should score similar to Robson with more attacking upside.

Wonder if Jolliffee is offended he is so far down the food chain, that nobody has give a phuck to report on it. Laughing
