Hey mate I listened to the NRL physio podcast tonight actually and he said it depends on if he cops another knock to it this week he said like how it happened with Koula creating the assist when the opposition winger jams in and aims to hit ya hard that’s when he got the knock as we know but he said if Koula digs into the line like that again on an edge and cops another knock to it it could require pain killing injections for him to play given it’s the AC joint injury can get quite painful with another knock that you can’t rule out him needing to come off should he cop another bad knock to it. I think he said for fantasy or SuperCoach if you don’t have him to have another look this week see how he goes and if he’s ok he has the rest for the bye then you can potentially get him in round 14. I have not listened to the NRL physio pod before but I really enjoyed it.

Sorry about your coach too mate with both our clubs are in turmoil will be a struggle our game on Saturday mate I’m gonna go in hoping for the best but expecting the worst call me a nutter but I actually have a feeling I haven’t had the last 6 weeks and I think Souths can win this game!

Yeah, don't think I'd be getting Koula in this week if I hadn't got him last week. Hoping he can stay unbroken, but it's a worry.

Pretty surprised by the BA news, to be honest. I'm a firm believer in not making big decisions if you don't have a proper plan. Eg. I wouldn't leave a job without securing another job if I have a family to feed. And if I owned a footy club I wouldn't sack a coach without a replacement, personally. Eels are a shambles, but not sure putting Barrett in charge before they find a new coach is the solution. Also not a fan of sacking a coach when your star player is injured either. Don't get me wrong, not excusing the pathetic performance on the weekend, or the terrible year... but I also don't hold BA solely responsible for it.

Anyway, the life of an Eels fan is the same ol' thing. BA got the Eels as far as they'll ever get. We all know there won't be a premiership again in our lifetimes, but he got as close as we'll get. No ill feelings at all to the guy. Did his best but the Eels are a different beast.

As for this weekend, I'll be tipping a team I haven't tipped for a few months either way, but Bunnies should towel them up, to be honest.

Like Nat Butcher, Garner hasn't been named anywhere this weekend - is he injured, rested or just doing lines of coke somewhere?

I sort of understand the appeal of Sorenson, but seems a bit hopeful trading in a guy who who has only started consecutive games once this year.

Given his BE and injury history I'd be waiting at least a week before doing anything with him.

    Butcher is at #19.

Butcher had a shocker on the Wilton try last week when he was about 5-10m away from position

    Might be dropped

Got 4 red dots so all my green dots are playing these week, like it or not.

Question is, do I trade Piakura to Sorensen this week, or wait and see for a week to make sure it's worthwhile? Down to 10 trades if I do the trade this week. NRL Fantasy 2024 Part 42 - That round was magical - Page 22 Giphy

TU - trade Piakura to Sorensen this week
TD - wait a week to see how Sorensen goes, and bring him in for Piakura next week if all goes well

According to the Fox Sports injury ward,
"Jaimin Jolliffe left the field against the Knights after eight minutes with a pectoral injury that is set to sideline him for an extended period."

21 green dots if I use three trades. Does feel nice to get there again.

Down to 12 trades is scary.

See how we go from here.

    Makes Round 14 too tough.

Other option is play 12 next week and buy a WFB that plays this week and also 16 and 19. Which would be Koula if Tommy is out for some time

Too depressing to count but he is probably one of maybe 3 players I still own from my starting squad for the year

    Joliffe, Arthars, Chevy

    for

    Ipap, Wighton, Cole

Can wait til RD 14 for the first two, no hurry I spose.

And Cole just seems better than Chevy. But unnecessary.

Why did Max King play 65 on the weekend? Only because Salmon was out?

Honestly seems like the Matai to me - looks like he is about to come off every game but always manages to play on.
