Player like Armstrong. Doesn’t matter that he’s going to make 300k cash because there’s no way we can upgrade him!

Moral to the story, buy to keep not trade again.

    Wishart is a no

I feel like I'm doing "okay" with 14 trades left and a decent number of keepers (Haas, Cotter, Ipap, Hynes, Iro, Garrick) then a few fringe guys like Mahoney, Galvin, Strange, Weekes, Walker, Brailey, Matterson that will be hanging around scoring like keepers until the end of the byes. Only really have to move on Smithies, Russell, Waddell, Cole, Armstrong, KPP but all except Waddell have short term use.

Don't think I'll get an optimal squad but should end up doing alright for a final team pre 8 extra trades

    Right now I have got 11 trades plus 8 = 19

I also have 10 players I would consider season keepers

While I can no longer do stupid stuff like hang on the Schuster for 8 weeks at the start of the season, I think there is a bit of room for flexibility. All my mid-rangers are making money. I don't really have any base price players any more, so I have at least 12 trades to speculate with - any that I need to use to cover injuries.

It could now just be about picking up fallen guns as they ride back up to the heavens

Last trade something like Crichton to Fermor in rd 14 but will see how things look then

Does that suggest you’re selling Angus for bye period by not listing him?

Cotter similar boat. Has okay byes, but decent chance of rest or low mins post Origin which could plummet his price when you could have sold at 730k

Might bite me this week but thinking Cotter to Cook. Cotter could score well but need decent hooker this week that plays 16. Surely Cook doesn't make Origin team?

Thinking of 2 trades this week and 1 next week which will probably be Angus to EDG that plays 13 14 16 which is only Dogs. Maybe Preston starting by 13

Apologies but I read this as titties cheer

Just like the cocktail my bye strategy contains milk and a hangover so there will be plenty of both by round 20

How many Dogs do you have already, it’s kinda funny 15 standalone bye might end up being another Storm/Raiders situation.

Sorensen and Preston play same amount of games in bye period
