Wonder if the early benching was the cause or outcome of his attitude that day.

Probably one of those iconic huge upset wins that will be remembered for a long time, it'd be a shame if it's overshadowed by AFB whatever his motivations.

Jumping Marlin wrote:Fox sports saying Rabbits plan tapping Cook on shoulder at end of year.  Would release him if got another club.

    Here’s the quote:
“There’s a strong tip the Rabbitohs are looking to tap Damien Cook on the shoulder at the end of this year.
Cook still has a year to run on his contract but if the Bunnies can find another NRL club willing to take him they won’t stand in his way.
South Sydney then want Cook to return to the Rabbitohs once he officially hangs up the boots to continue on at the club in an off-field role.”

Everywhere reporting Shane Richardson’s “secret trip” to UK to try to pitch clubs to take on Tigers players with Naden, Bateman, Sullivan and Staines all mentioned.  Also reporting Tigers gave iPap permission to negotiate to leave end of year.

Rumours Cook likely gone after this year are correct. . AJ not to be renewed after 2025. JMK, Bostock, Stone potential Dolphins we might look at.

Thinking behind AJ is he’s on 350-400k and we have Mellars and Munro coming through.

Souths still trying to get Angus and looking at Royce Hunt for bench impact from the Sharks.

Have heard a rumour Keppie is on notice as well.

Stone extended for two more years.

    JMK and Bostock, not sure.

He has a good motor, but seems more partial to efforts that help win games, like solid first man tackles, and heavy traffic hit ups.
Unfortunately seems disinterested in 3rd man flops and meaningless offloads

Ming has a good bye schedule and plays decent minutes and is like a nice warm cup of builders tea if that hits a happy spot

Yeah I'm thinking about Ming but given he plays tonight I'm not entirely ready to take the plunge....tbh he was more an option if I wanted to sell Carrigan coming into SOO

Don't particularly need a MID next week but will in 14.....if Tohu was available I'd just straight swap them

I think as @robelgordo pointed out AFB appears to be a bit of a loose unit and if he's unhappy I can see the situation deteriorating as the season progresses.

I might just take the hit this week or trade to someone like Yeo late in the round if the hits keep coming

Also noted is that JFH must have some major fans if my innocuous post about him being a bit 'fine' in fantasy is harvesting the downvotes Very Happy

Ah true - yeah they’re endangered species this year.

Feels like everyone wants Lucas to play CTr except the small 0.1% owners like myself Very Happy

In all honesty, Lucas has looked better at 2nd Row than KPP has. However they are two different builds.
