    Is that official now?

I literally own the guy in every draft league on every platform (NRL fantasy, CEO, Nearly) and I’ve dropped him in a few where I’m desperate, but been holding where I have depth. If he’s confirmed stood down will go shopping

9 news reporting it as official. Both Wakeham and May

Suaalii has beaten out Josh Addo-Carr and Zac Lomax for a wing spot, and will partner Penrith bulldozer Brian To’o on the flanks to take on Queensland in the opening Origin.

Sharks lock Cameron McInnes, who played under Maguire at Souths, has earned a spot on the bench for his Origin debut.

Suaalii makes no sense, for a new coach looking to build a team for the future.

How come the forum is so quiet this week, only took 5 minutes to catch up this morning?

Madge said he's picking on form, but yeah. Can see arguments both ways.

Usually a lull when trades start getting low....think everyone was planning on saving some until we got the AFB, Koula, Galvin (maybe) news

He is still only 18, and Benji would understand the importance of load management for young halves better than just about anyone. Given the 5 day turnaround (Sunday in Brisbane to Friday in Townsville), it's hardly surprising that he'd give his 18 year old protege a break, especially with the bye next week.

I actually think this is probably the most logical explanation of Galvin training with the reserves and having a rest this week, then bye next week.
My money is on him returning for 14.

How is Suaalii's form this season worthy of being selected for Origin ahead of the other candidates? :-S

I think he's been decent, strong running game this year, showing effort, seems to be caring more

JAC hasn't done much in 2024 lets be honest. I always thought he just runs really fast and that's the jist of his game personally (He's good at it lets be honest)

    Little bit extra on AFB

    https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/teams/warriors/nrl-2024-addin-fonuablake-stood-down-by-nz-warriors-news-latest-what-did-he-do/news-story/8c7f24df5e961033cd2cd6670d9dc451

Fonua-Blake’s decision to skip the team song prompted speculation it was part of an attempt to force an early release to move to the Sharks, but the star forward’s manager Ahmad Merhi shot down those claims.

“Following the game Addin chose to leave the dressing room as he was greatly disappointed with his performance that day and felt the need to step back and reflect on his own,” Merhi told Nine.

“His emotions were intense, and he acknowledges that leaving the dressing room was unprofessional. He fully accepts responsibility and is committed to ensuring it does not happen again.

“It is evident that he will not be playing this week and with the Warriors having a bye the following week, he will be ready and 100 per cent prepared to face the Cowboys.”

That McInnes news is annoying, though not unexpected I guess. This'll be his last week in the team then.

    All our teams are terrible.

This time last year we had the entire top five, a dozen in the top 100 and half of us were in the top 1k. This year the only metric we're doing well in is Del Bosque oof GIFs
