Only joy us non Ted owners have currently is that he will miss 4 games lol. There is no way he doesn't get picked for origin.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 22
Can anybody see any glaring trades with this team? I could trade Saifiti out, but still has cash to make. Its not ideal playing Gutherson in my 17, but im willing to bet im not the only one doing it..
Smith
Surgess, Brimwhich
Parker, Taupau, Rochow
C. Walker, Hastings
H. Hunt, Gutherson
Inglis, Gordon, Mitchell
Reserves: Parcell, Graham, Saifiti, Barba.
Saifiti not starting now wont mean as many points, so maybe I should just upgrade him. He is really the only trade I can see?
Also have DCE; Carter + Martin NPR

Ive owned Ted From the start, and wont be getting rid of him unless he breaks in half.
This year with change in rules, I built my team with less of a focus on forward strength and more in the prominent/versatile backs and back rowers. I.e Ted, Crocker, Dugan, Mansour, Parker, Ma'u, Cartwright and Smith.
Sitting in the high 3000's its hard to argue it was a very successful ploy.
But my frontrow is average. Jbrom, BLaw as my two top picks. That hurts.
So Complain about not having Ted, but id hope that it means you have a decent forward pack to make it up.

1 trade this week - Niko to Holland.
Team lines up as:
Smith,
Woods, JTrbo
Gillett, Ma'u, Taupau,
Mbye, Hastings
Aubbs, Holland
Ted, Barba, Mitchell
Res: Parcell, Blaw, Cartwright, Taylor
NPR: Grant, Saifiti, Carter, Feeney, JLJ, Scott, Gutherson, Bowen
Got quite a bit of cash tied up in NPR's but not sure there's any standout downgrade options.

Which Walker are we talking about? Either one still has cash to make, im guessing you aren't upgrading Walker this week?
Also why not just hold Carter? He might still play this week.

People were saying he is in the team for Mannah, think he is back in 2-3 weeks? If so, not really worth it considering his price IMO

mannah would deadset be playing nsw cup if it wasnt for his 'standing' in the club.

If Reynolds is back this week then there's every chance Walker won't be in the 17. If so, no reason to hold him + you've got $300k on the pine for the foreseeable future and likely dropping points fast.

I've got Mbye, but if I were making that choice this week I'd go with Sezer. Cheaper, lower break-even, and slightly easier opponents over the next month.

Out of interest, what were the change of rules this year?

Fair point, but there's also every chance Keary is going to be the one to go. Considering they didn't start the season with Keary also, gives me hope Walker will retain his #6 spot.

FWIW, the Warriors play in Australia once between now and round 14. Take that into account if you are thinking about bringing in RTS.....

I think Keary was injured/suspended at the time. Either way he is cake, Walker deserves to retain his spot.
