Always a real danger when people see stuff on the field and assume that reflect people and/or relationships off it.

Hunt turning down Lomaxs demand for a challenge was one of my favourite moments last weekend.

    Cheers

Im currently running with 16 but tempted to trade KPP to Katoa. I can run 13 next week without KPP but i assume he goes back to 80 mins and Lucas will play ctr while Best is out.
Is Katoa to KPP to much of s sideways trade?
Can you still run 13 next week if you trade one of your Knights?

Like Rob said he tries things and they either do or don't come off....some of them are ill advised and some of them are magic. There is no point expecting him to be a steady consistent 7.5 out of 10 player, it's not him. As he gets older his ratio of magic to ill advised will probably get better

Latrell is the same type of player

Walsh is the same type of player

Munster is the same type of player

Is it a coincidence that all those players are on the very top end of NRL salaries?!

You can drill a team to be resilient in defence when a mistake is made; it's a lot harder to get a team to create magic moments without players who are gifted enough to do things others can't.

Those magic moments don't just add points, they can completely swing the momentum of a match, which puts more pressure on the opposition and can create a knock-on effect creating more opportunities

St George Illawarra’s woes continue with Hame Sele and Jack Bird needing surgery which will sideline them for an extended period.

Sele has a fractured shoulder which will need to be operated on. While a timeline is not yet clear it is understood he will be sidelined for at least two months.

Bird was taken from the field just before halftime with an ankle injury in immense pain. There was no fracture to his ankle however there was a significant sprain. He is due to meet with a specialist with the Dragons hopeful he will only miss about a month of action. (Michael Carayannis)

Is there any word on how long Koula is out? I can only see the TBC in NRL casualty ward. If it's more than few weeks might flick him to Wishart

He has played a of of five-eighth in NSW Cup (8 out of 10 games there over past 2 years)

I don't know why they don't play him there in first grade

I've always thought scoring points keeps your team out of the cellar while defensive resolve is the difference between 1st and 8th.

One of the reasons the Bulldogs were historically bad the last few years is if they got 12 behind they were basically finished

So it's basically all your fault?

Is Plath still a buy if you don't already own him? Or too late to the party?

Still trying to find a Jolliffe replacement and no options I really love. iPap and Matto the others I'm looking at but both come with fairly obvious risks.
