I’ll have to weigh up next week what to do with Hynes if I hold and he misses 14 and 17 I’m down to 16 both weeks.

If NSW win game 1 Hynes could miss 14,16,17,19,20 so 5 of next 7 from next week!

If you have a captain that gets 60, and have 3 shittos like Hughes, Strange, Mikaele etc getting 35 average, with the rest of an average of 12 players can get an average of 45, you are scoring 585. Would be a good competitive score I expect. If you are running with 13, you would want a score over 600.

I listened to some of nrl physio podcast and with injury and type of mechanism would expect 6-8 weeks syndesmosis with surgery but not confirmed yet.

What is the plan for next week, with 7 on the bye?

You can play Smithies at EDG this week, not bring in Aitken, and trade Smithies out next week. Might be a slightly lower score this week, but you get an extra scorer in R14.

Averages get me to 588 this week.

That includes 13 from Hands who will hopefully score more than that
If I can push out a 60+ from captain Terrell, and avoid any injuries/total duds then should be able to crack 600

rugby players can't handle league it's too tough mentally & physically that's why they play rugby...the highest tackle counts in rugby are probably between 15-25 tackles & these are usually easy tackles close contact in league they'll have to double that tally to at least 35-40 tackles & they aren't used to tackling league players at full speed off a 20-30 mtr hit up....the ball is in play for much larger mins in league & scrums in rugby take 2 hours so they get plenty of rest which they won't in league no 1st 58th in league will continuously kick the ball out for endless lineouts which again give the rugby players a good rest.

tldr...rugby players don't have stamina to play league

I think you're just a bit more optimistic than me. I got my 13 to 580, but had Hughes and Strange as 30s. I'll take your projections though!

What happens if players injured or suspended this week and some origin players don't back up? Why keep Angus? He plays 1 game next 4. Definitely aggressive but not smart if Rd 14 numbers in the mud

cheers bro that is all true & i was weighing this up for hours last night but decided because smithies isn't playing 80 mins & is scoring in the 30's i'd happily take aitken who will score 20 more approximately. i will have 6 next week when angus goes to d. fifita. as i said i'm being aggressive & sure i may not be able to get out a 17 in rd 14 but if all my bench suit up i should get 15 players available.

Yeah I was making up numbers in my head to get to 580... if I used actual averages its 605. Includes Hands being way low, and I thought of subbing in Lussick's average instead, but I also have guys like Weekes and Amrstrong at small sample averages of 50+ which I can't see happening to offset

A few years ago I hit exactly 1000 points on the major bye round whilst playing 16 players (old system). I still think about that round on lonely nights.
