Think he means that he is now out again this week so effectively bought him to then have him out two weeks in a row.
Was my situation. Bought him in as a decent captain option for the bye round, then got stuck with him as captain and not even getting points from him this week too. One of my worst moves this season

The chance that Keaon plays 80 min lock in 3 of next 6 and is DPP that fills bye week gaps I need is too useful not to take a punt on with 13 trades left. Still not convinced on Fainu scoring even with nice price point

So when looking at this squad I'm trying to figure out who's definitely being traded out, how much coin that'll generate, how many guns it can buy (with a ~300k cashout to facilitate) and then figure out how my trades are looking.
Definite trade outs: Talagi, Hands, Koula, Strange, Shoes, Atkinson, Weekes (7)
Guys I'd happily hold all year if shit hit the fan: Api, King, DeBelin, Plath, Carty, KPP, Galvin, SWalker, Iro, Kiraz, Garrick, Hopgood, JBrailey, Hynes (14)
So at worst case (if no luxury trades available), I have 14 keepers and need another 4-5 to be comfortable. With 20 (12+
trades left, I'll be hoping to save/use 8 on injury, leaving me with 12 to work with to get those 4-5 keepers, noting that if I trade one of my keepers to another keeper, it doesn't improve the position (e.g. Hynes > Fifita this week).
So in order to turn 12 trades into 5 keepers, I'll need 5 trades to get the keepers, 5 probably cashouts to afford them, which leave 2 trades. This likely means I'll only have the option of one outright cash cow (unless those cashouts end up working really well).
Based on cost predictions, and trading out guys at a relative peak in price, I can generate the following revenue to spend on keepers:
Talagi: 470k
Hands: 560k
Koula: 470k (current)
Strange: 460k (current)
Shoes: 400k (current)
Atkinson: 520k
Weekes: 700k
Total: 3.6 mil
So if I was to spread the 3.6mil across 5 guns, it'll average out to be about 720k per gun. Ideally I'd like to get in Cleary and Yeo and/or other high priced guns, so likely I'll be looking at only being able to get 2 uber guns (900k each) and 2 lesser guns (750k each) and use the remaining 300k to upgrade a guy like Carty/KPP/King etc to a full gun.

With all of their injuries he might have to play 80 minutes at lock, seems very capable and then yeah just goes back to 80 minute edge where he has a decent enough average. Excellent byes

Strange, Koula, Shoes are instant outs for mine. Hynes has to go too because you need the points and can't afford any cash loss.
Your targets are missing a CTR and cover - suggest Wighton at cut price.
From you sub-tier guns, only Latrell is somewhat undepriced, so he comes in.
Twal isn't mentioned, but is a high value pick with good byes - noting you're good for mids. But could make you 150k and help get to Yeo.
Last you need a cash cow, suggest holding your nose and going Seyfarth or betting on Simpkin. Jack Cole is the other good option.
Lots of trades is nice, so can take the risk.

I was going to grab Preston but Koala is definitely tempting with the DPP and added round 19. I think Preston scores more by seasons end if he remains in the run on side for the year though.

Thanks WL, I wanted Kleese Haas as well and it works but leaves me with $0 in the bank. I'm not sure having a $0 balance is a great idea the way this season has played out to date...

3 games with 2 tries at a 48 average. Small sample size but those 2 games with tries aren't the best scoring.
