One thing mate, when you trade your 7 cows to 5 guns, you will also need at very least 460k out of that to fill the other 2 spots. So really you $3.12m to spend on 5 guns, or $624k per gun

Thanks WL, I wanted Kleese Haas as well and it works but leaves me with $0 in the bank. I'm not sure having a $0 balance is a great idea the way this season has played out to date...

I suppose Seyfarth is a cash cow (who I'll have to play at least four times before round 20) but it feels wrong

i agree bro it does feel wrong buying seyfarth but at 400k & starting while ipap (back round 22 re casualty ward) & bateman (unknown when he'll be back) are out for a while. even though he's starting i'm in 2 minds whether he'll keep starting as benji could just as easily swap his pack around next week.

I'm just going to hold my nose and go with it...can't be more irritating than Hughes getting 15 mins randomly, can it?

from a non fantasy perspective khaas is a talented league player with skills & good basics plus he's payne's brother & i could imagine when he was younger playing footy with payne in the back yard honing his skills & tackling technique. having a future immortal as a brother teaching you how to play is very beneficial.

Strange, Koula, Shoes are instant outs for mine. Hynes has to go too because you need the points and can't afford any cash loss.

Your targets are missing a CTR and cover - suggest Wighton at cut price.

From you sub-tier guns, only Latrell is somewhat undepriced, so he comes in.

Twal isn't mentioned, but is a high value pick with good byes - noting you're good for mids. But could make you 150k and help get to Yeo.

Last you need a cash cow, suggest holding your nose and going Seyfarth or betting on Simpkin. Jack Cole is the other good option.

Lots of trades is nice, so can take the risk.
Thanks for taking the time Jimmy.

    I've got currently penciled in:

    Kris > Hands
    Strange > Wighton
    Shoes > Fifita
Koula > Seyfarth (can't afford Twal by 14k)

Other option is to grab Fermor over Fifita and Twal over Seyfarth. Would leave more cash in the bank, and can reassess Fifita before origin game 2. Will ponder this after tonight's game. I know Hynes is most likely a trade, but if he gets dropped he'll be an awesome POD to hold through the origin period. Again, will assess after tonight's game.

True mate thanks for that. Perhaps in the back of my mind I'm hoping that one of my trade ins as a cash cow can be traded out to facilitate a future gun. Current plans are based on current squad value, if that rises, so should my ease of getting guns in. Just gotta get lucky picking the right cash cows.

Everyone seems to be buying the same players this week which is usually a red flag

Of the 4 possible edge and mid options at Tigers I want to see at least this week game before buying. Maybe Seyfarth becomes a buy

I'm in a similar boat Snatch.
Team value hasn't cracked $13m, so options aren't as good as the cashed up teams.
Hynes > Fifita [depending on SOO 1 tonight].
If not, it will be Strange and/or Waddell as the definite trade-outs to get the Titans big-dog in.
Of course, if anything happens to a Queensland Edge tonight, or they lose, Fifita could get the call-up anyway.

I was pretty set on Jahrome Hughes last night, but now I'm torn between him and Trell. Thanks to having Weekes and Atkinson, going either way doesn't really affect my depth.

Trell has higher upside but a lower floor, and is a risk of Origin. He does have a slightly better bye schedule if he misses Origin, missing 17 instead of 19

Hughes has a higher floor but lower ceiling, and is zero risk of Origin, but also has that calf injury which could come back at any moment

Trell is most likely a top player in his position to end the year and Hughes likely isn't. Trell for me for that reason

It's annoying that the Eels are playing last this week. I reckon Matto could end up playing and if he did I'd rather keep him than trade him to Uto, but just can't take the risk

Anyone got a list of Mid / Edge DPPs (less than $500k)
Just trying to work out a warm-body to play in Rd.16 to field 13.
Will be selling J.Brailey and have some cash ITB.

Was thinking S. Fainu, but am wondering if there's someone I've missed.
Obviously, can't be a Sharks, Panthers, Eels, Dragons, Knights, Broncos or Cowboys player.

Fainu is the best car on the lot, correct?

I'm taking the punt on Samuela. Not huge value priced at 34, but averaging 40 in the second row with some stints at CTR (may become a recurring theme, but hopefully Benji sticks someone else there next time). Hopefully can go 40+ between now and Rd 20 and then upgrade to an origin gun. Job security pretty good since Benji was moving Bateman/IPap to LK to accommodate him starting, now both out awhile, so he's the first choice edge it seems.

Whyte has dual and is under 500k, but I wouldn't be touching a rooster.

Niukore could be worth a look at if you think he stays healthy. Starting over Capewell this week which is promising
