Tonight I've made a Thai Green Chicken Curry from scratch (no jarred pastes here).
Photo to come once I dish it up.
In the meantime here are some ribs I made the other day - 4 hour slow cooked.

Ah so the taste has changed a bit? I still like them as they are know…….No Worries wrote:They use to be better when they just had a store front in Parramatta. They went downhill when they started supplying Coles & Woolies and closed their store fronts as part of the deal. But your right they are better than a 420 well not a 420 but a Four&Twenty pie

When they started out it was just a little family business with 1 then 2 stores so they were premium, maybe 6 different types of pies and not always the same flavour and a sausage roll and they were probably only making 100 pies a day. If you went to a late lunch tlavours would be sold out and you had to pick from what was left. It's still run by Sean Garlick of Roosters and Rabbits fame but now it's more of a business, cut back on production and ingredient costs to supply the big chains

First time I had one was probably 10 years ago. I feel like they've changed even since then. Grabbed a 2 pack at Woolies over my preferred Herbert Adams and they were pretty much tasteless.
Being in WA though never had a chance to try them when they were a small business and probably putting their heart and soul into it still.

I try to avoid processed foods as much as I can as I think they are the most detrimental part of modern diet; I make as many things from scratch as I can to control what I eat.
