Think I’d have a shot at the monthly if I’d got Api instead of playing 12 last week.

Huh I just had a look and I'm currently 19th but have players to spare over most of those above me.

First is 150 ahead with Plath, Aitken, Galvin vs Manu, Isaako, Uto, Koro and May.

I think that seals the decision to trade Fifita and have a crack at winning something.

That is the definition of a backwards trade... Surely there is someone else you could consider?

    Yeah I’m 15th, similar situation.

I only noticed last night and yeah I reckon Api instead of zero and Api over Hands this week would’ve put me in the box seat.

Although there’s probably all kinds of stories in the top 50 monthly like that… coulda been a contender!

I've been through my reasoning a bunch in previous posts and as discussed I don't think it's backwards at all. I agree Fifita > Uto in a vaccuum but in the context of my teams needs, the bye restrictions and my goals I think it's positive expected value.

I admire you sticking to your guns - but then again - I started the season with Schuster - and I also was full of self-admiration for that at the time sunny

Without the bulk kicking metres, the fantasy base just isn't there. He scored a nice try to save his score, but if Cook/Fogarty are in the team then he has likely peaked fantasy-wise.

Watson obviously the better scorer. but still has 2 byes, plus 1 game where he'll be backing up from origin. If you can cover him those weeks then go for him

I don't mind it at all
As Rob said, Fifita has a bit of a history of tailing off towards the end of the year - whether that's just been situational I don't know, or whether Des rather than Holbrook makes a difference??

But ultimately big averages are nice for feels, Fantasy is won on total points, so if you can make it work... and if Billy gives Fifi a chance, you're probably laughing

Anyone see Lomax as a must trade out, he might miss the next month. 1 trade left though, playing 15 this week.
    Currently 8/450

With 1 trade left, don't do it.

You'll almost certainly need that trade for something else next week or the week after.

    Take the hit.
