Few articles in recent weeks suggesting Croker is close to a return, so I'll be avoiding Simpkin as a cash out

    Round 19
    Api/Hands
    Plath Moale S. Fainu
    Aitken Fifita (will play origin)
    Dylbags Hynes/Galvin
    Iro Wighton
    Garrick Pryce

Grant Haas Teddy Drinky Tapine Soro S. Hughes all out

So leaves me 11 for next week. What are my options to get a 12th man? I have 4 out in round 20 currently too.

If I go Grant to Nikora I leave myself short in round 20.

Soro to Matto could be an option next week but maybe sideways. But again leaves me short round 20.

I could go Drinky to JC but is that silly? Drinky 2 byes on run home but can JC stay fit?

One trade so far this weeks is JMK to Haas I’ve aborted Yeo for now as I think he gets rested round 20.

What Toovey said on 360 tonight too didn’t sound too good for Koula staying at FB for long

Don't forget Broncos have the bye in R24, so Yeo getting rested is a wash. Unless you're struggling for R20 numbers

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Ponga is in the Maroons 17, even as the utility.

Feel a little at a crossroads this week in the unsurity (should be a word) of trading two guns Grant and Manu or not.

The hold argument is that Hooker position is a dumpster fire this year and Grant is probably one of the best for the run home. Similar with Manu in Centre (have Aitken, Iro and Blazer). However, a month may be more out, and his fend may not be quite the same coming back from this injury.

The sell argument is basically YOLO (are the kids still saying that?) have 5 trades and could get Latrell this week who I want, and then up to 585k for the 2nd (maybe Starling as my current hooker strategy seems to be heaps of middling shitc*nts who get low minutes see Hands and Brailey). And Grant is missing a few more with Origin and Byes.

Appreciate some other perspectives, otherwise a TU/TD for the lazy among us

Pretty happy with where my team is at right now.

    R19 team:

    Api
    McInnes Plath Uto
    DiFi Aitken
    Hynes Galvin
    Penis Iro
    Garrick Marzhew JC

    Piakura Hands Drinky AFB
    Trell Tapine Kiraz Curran

Piakura can fill in for DiFi if he plays Origin, and am holding a trade in case I need to move on Curran for a WFB in case JC isn't back in 19, or any other injury suspension.

Then I can get Cleary and Haas/Yeo in R20 for a combination of McInnes/Uto/Garrick if I cash down Curran, Piakura or Iro. Maybe worth going Api > Grant directly, too.

    This hooker position is indeed a pain in the ass. I need 2 trades if I want Cook but there's no second trade I like, everything feels forced and unnecessary heading into next week. Basically will just hope Hands can somehow get a 35 and roll with that. Other options all have question marks over them now;

    Simpkin - Croker immanent return?
Garlick - Solid punt if Grant was out a while but we won't know that in the next day or so.
Starling - Good scorer and fun to watch but Ricky Stuart is his coach.
Walters - Can score not too bad but not consistency. If he was a locked in 60 minute hooker, would be okay at that price IMO
Cheese - Great price, worth a punt but Robbo is his coach.
Titan trio (Verrills/Randall/Clark) - Des Hasler. I really like Clark and still might just get him in if Hands is shit. But if they stayed where they are, Randall at lock would be worth the punt too IMO. Considering both. No byes left.
JBrailey - Been told to fuck off from the club so Crossland definitely the first choice hooker
BBrailey - Another solid option at the price but round 20 hurts.
Api - Trading him in after a 28 does not feel right. Playing Storm this week can't be good for him either.

I'd just like to say. The 28 included a sinbin penalty (-7) on top of the opportunity to score some points (or miss some tackles) if he played an extra 10 minutes. Wasn't otherwise going to be a terrible score. He's clearly not going to score 80 every week, a bunch of scores in the 40s would be fine though

Also, the Tigers have a winning record against the Storm at Leichhardt

I am not getting Api, mostly because I can afford Cook.
