    similar situation for me.

i'm tempted to cash down weekesnow to a gamble on koula, and do jmk to cook. i dont really like koula since it feels like tommy t will dominate play making and maybe just end up at fb proper in a couple of weeks.

still need a wfb for rnd 19 so kind of fixes two problems at once.

jmk really spanner'd the works. if i wait on grant there's at least two weeks of having to play Hands, and then Hands is on a bye in round 20 and Grant probably comes off the bench (or potentially doesnt play at all)

I thought similar except Marzhew over Koula. I want to see how this whole experiment looks for a week with Tom/Koula. Dunno, I still think Weeks can go okay at the back and would rather be able to use max trades next week if needed to. Cook and Hands playing the same game really is not ideal for the situation.

I also looked at May to Matto/Carty but will probably screw me for round 20.

Just no second option seems right.

Shoes to Howarth was my other option.

Going to try hold trades this week and wait a week on the popular assets. Means Salmon and Kris stay another week, but think with 18 green dots (Hands, Salmon and Tohu can loop)

Salmon will lose a little cash but with so much uncertainty on the 2 guys I'd be trading them to (Sipley & Koula) I think holding could be a good option given the chaos of this year and next week possibly throwing more.

Holding Manu - will be a gun for the home run when hopefully most have burned trades out.

Thinking is grossly over-rated this year.

Chasing points has been the play.

Goodnight Kiwi wrote:Feel a little at a crossroads this week in the unsurity (should be a word) of trading two guns Grant and Manu or not.

The hold argument is that Hooker position is a dumpster fire this year and Grant is probably one of the best for the run home. Similar with Manu in Centre (have Aitken, Iro and Blazer). However, a month may be more out, and his fend may not be quite the same coming back from this injury.

The sell argument is basically YOLO (are the kids still saying that?) have 5 trades and could get Latrell this week who I want, and then up to 585k for the 2nd (maybe Starling as my current hooker strategy seems to be heaps of middling shitc*nts who get low minutes see Hands and Brailey). And Grant is missing a few more with Origin and Byes.

Appreciate some other perspectives, otherwise a TU/TD for the lazy among us

Yeah thanks pal. Appreciate the thinking. Latrell is why I'm potentially selling both. With just Manu I can afford 687k or below.

Otherwise, skip Latrell for now and look at both out for Cook and Matterson for example. Swapping two heavy hitters feels very pivotal

I think I am going to just do JMK down to one of the cheap hookers and just keep the 2 trades and the cash for moves in Round 19/20.

May consider doing Sharpe to Koula but will decide that over the weekend. Most of the players I want are playing Origin and trying hard to be patient.
