JMK to Bateman for me. Can't imagine Benji not playing him close to 80 every week. If he sticks at second row he should go 50+ for the season. Priced at 46. If he goes back to that 80min lock role, that's just a bonus.

I think it's will be a close contest, who do you think will win?

    TU: Hands
    TD: Wighton

How you running that loop? Red dot options at half and CTR?

Would be my first choice loopers too but can't make it work so will lock Wighton in.

Fa'alogo and Manu to Marzhew and McInnes for me, purely based on good vibes. Ponga back should help Greg (also Best is killing it), and the Sharks bench doesn't play huge mins normally so McInnes should be good for at least 60 mins most weeks (also I love him as a player).

Leaves me 1 trade left for next week and $29k bank

Probably see Hughes FB? Wishart and Anderson halves with Reimis in

No way in hell would they move Hughes for that.

It'd probably be Wishart or Anderson FB with the other at 5/8. Wishart has been tried at FB before.

Beth, any news on that Howarth injury he was carrying? Obviously named but my only half decent cash out option if I go that way and looks like his stocks have risen quite a bit.

This is the info that I can find

    https://www.melbournestorm.com.au/news/2024/07/02/injury-report-round-18/

    The part on Howarth specifically:

The Club also received a welcome boost in both Ryan Papenhuyzen and Jack Howarth shaping as starters for the Club after being in some doubt heading into the week.

"Paps has got to get through the training but we're very confident that he will as he trained this morning and will be training tomorrow with the team and again on Friday for a Captain's Run so he's shaping to play on the weekend.

"He’s desperate to play football as he missed so much over the last few years and even this year of late, so he's very keen to get back on the field and he'll be a welcome addition come Saturday night," Ponissi said.

“Jack’s recovered remarkably well as we originally had him out heading into this week but he's recovered well and while he's still got a few boxes to tick before Saturday, the early signs are that he’s every chance of playing.”

Thank you!  Jeez....dunno, still seems risky as he'll be locked in tonight if I go that way.  Might have to play it cautious this week and just see what Hands scores then make a play from there.

Have both in the EMG with Hands position 18, Wighton position 19
Aitken in the CTRs (on the bye), Wighton is the only CTR on my bench atm so he takes Aitken's spot if he scores well.
Otherwise I'll swap Weekes (on the Interchange) for Garrick/Kiraz (in my playing 13 at WFB) to get Hands' score

Ah yep nice, no Aitken for me the problem. Expect Hands to go low anyway unfortunately.

Having a WFB/Centre crisis coming into this round with Manu, JC, Fa’alogo and Sharpe all on the books.

Already have Manu -> Ponga locked and loaded, and strongly considering Sua -> Marzhew. Also considering Sharpe -> Koula and JBrailey -> Cook to offset the number of Knights in my team.

4 trades this week would leave me with 6 until we get more.

    Thoughts?

The Broncos playing poorly has flow on effects such as me ignoring footy news for mpst of the week followed by half-arsing a trade or two on a Thursday night. Really helps quell the trade rage.

Point taken though, nice to have the freedom to make 4 trades this week.

I'm also considering Ponga, but going to wait until next week in case of injury or SOO selection. Plus hope he drops slightly in price, doubt he goes up in price. I don't need the number this week though, just 19 and 20
