    Finances are looking a little tight unless I swap Starling for Howarth and spend gun money on Reed.

    Something to ponder

    Finals will be a tough ask with the loss last week so I’d say he will be done for the season

    I am hoping just 2 trades this week, barring any Origin mishaps. Have a planned trade next week of Sharpe to Yeo as hopefully both will be the same price. Hard to resist loading up my team this week though.

    I think I'd still sell if I owned but just to note I don't think it's really like the Jai Arrow one for example where surgery was clearly needed and they were putting it off, in which case no doubt shut him down for the season if finals are out of the equation.

    The post from Nrlphysio said it was confirmed he will not require surgery and could return in a month.

    So unless there is a setback, if he's fully recovered come round 23/24 I don't see why he wouldn't play even if top 8 is out of the picture.

    More coming at this from a Jye Gray perspective because I did consider getting him but don't want to risk a red dot for the last few weeks.

    With just single team byes after this week, using as many transfers to get a great 17 seems like the best idea?

    i reckon there's a decent chance. probably has to take smoothys spot if so. kevy said post loss they would look at getting him into the 17 moving forward, but thats grain of salt stuff.

    Not having my best of seasons this year, rotten luck with injuries/trades as has been the case for many.
    Sitting at 7.9k rank, likely using 4 of the final 8 trades this week to ship out some red dots and grab some guns, plus another next week to remove another red dot, so will be holding on at the back end hoping injury luck improves.
    Need a hooker this week - what do people think is the best option?

    TU : Trade Api to Randall & hold Hands in EMG for rest of the season.
    TD : Trade Hands to Starling & hold onto Api.

    TU: Howarth and Cook/Reed
    TD: Starling and Gun (anyone except Cleary)

    Not sure the best way to go here

    Had to read this 4 times before I realised you weren't saying Yeo was gonna be 364k next week

    Best case scenario he misses half the season left and is the second most expensive player in the game

    Comfortable sell for mine

    Like many, forced into multiple trades just to get 17 on park this week. 3 it is.

    Got good cash in the bank but not as much as I'd like to get the guns I really want while also leaving a solid bank for future moves, so have to take one gamble in my moves:

    Aitken--> I.Tago (gamble --> hoping he re-finds his form now Chin is back)
    Ming --> Haas
    Koula --> Cleary

    Would ideally wait a week on Cleary tbh but need a half this week and he'll be in my final team, so it has to be this week.

    Somehow, Piakura survives yet another week, cos he's a fucking green dot Laughing Laughing, Blore and Hands also lucky to still be sticking around. Hoping the former can get back to decent form when Money Mun$ter is back!

    I really want Yeo basically. So have to wait a week with the bank I have to get him. Getting in Watson already and don't trust the other FRF options. My team isn't too bad this week and still capable of a decent score.

    plus 4 trades is not going to be enough for the rest of the year if this season is anything to go by.

    I'm contemplating this exact option, Hands to Starling & holding Api looks better on paper, but I have 3 Tigers in my team and Api to Randall seems better for team balance.
    I might pick up Grant down the track if he looks to get back to his fantasy gun status, Randall could be a handy 18th man down the track

    Api misses two or perhaps three of the last 8 games so I’m pretty happy to sell to Starling this week.

    I will come back to this post in 3 weeks time for a moan

    Just listened to the NRL Fantasy Amateurs podcast and they had the no.1 ranked player on.

    and his strategy is SUBGUN PODS so maybe @mattnz is onto something........
