    Seems like a luxury and could easily be sideways but i’m doing plath to grant this week. I feel like grant will finish the year strong (and is underpriced) and I also think plath will sputter away 30-40s at hooker for the rest of the year

    I also bought lussick and koula based on my feelings this year too though

    Means you aren't picking between 35 points and 40 points, rather mitigating risk of say Galvin getting injured early and scoring 5 and taking advantage of being able to switch someone in while 80% of teams you are jostling with for position have to wear a low score.

    Low risk, low chance, but high reward if anything does happen and this season anything is possible.

    This sounds like ramblings of a man that doesn't have Plath in his best 17

    We on for Eliminator this week

    You scored 6 more than me last week, so might be a close one...

    Likely the rest of the season. Alamoti out six weeks with a broken arm and YAM gone for good

    I've just noticed an alternative to my current trade plan and I think I like it.

    TU: Stick with Plath + Weekes to Cleary + Starling (Hands would be in EMG)

    TD: Plath + Hands to Cleary + McLean (Weekes would be in EMG)

    So is the vibe everyone pushing for the strongest possible team now and hoping for luck with injuries etc. over the last 5-7 weeks? Or saving more trades than usual?

    Hmm I don’t need him really but Strange to McLean is mighty tempting.

    A lot jumping off Plath. I can see why but this week is looking harder in terms of who to trade out as opposed to who to trade in. For me it's the likes of;

    Weeks
    Plath
    Strange
    KPP
    Fainu
    Talagi
    Hands
    Shoes
    May??

    Arguments can be made for all of them in reality. Hands and Shoes probably not worth it at their price point and May I'm just salty he's benched but will more than likely keep. Weeks probably the obvious standout and from there for me it's looking like Strange and KPP. KPP can't burn me this week with a 60 and Strange I don't want to part with but always needs a big play to save his score. Talagi in the same boat though really.

    If Plath cuts his missed tackles down by half last week he scores around 45 and maybe there's hope he moves back to lock soon? Tough one.

    Currently though I'm looking at;

    KPP - Cleary
    Weeks - Howarth
    Strange - Yeo

    Gives me;

    Cook
    Yeo Koala Haas
    Soro Fifita
    Cleary Galvin
    Howarth Iro
    Ted Drinkwater Garrick

    JC Plath May Wighton

    Fainu Shoes Talagi Hands

    Leaves 7 trades left. I like the look of Howarth and seems perfectly playable IMO. Although could run Fainu instead of him. I also could trade Fainu instead of KPP for the loop factor this week. So many question marks.

    May will probably get more minutes from the bench…. I hope haha

    But yeah agree the list of trade out this week is long but there are some very good buys to make it a bit easier

    Weekes to Cleary
    Plath to Yeo
    Strange to McLean

    What could be better than bringing in 3 Panthers players? 6 of their last 7 games will be against bottom 8 teams.

    Was just about to say I'm not too sure on Plath this week, not like scenarios where a trade is needed to field 17 and low trades and all.

    Sure he'll drop some cash but potentially still finding his feet at hooker a bit and start to run a bit more. Reckon he's got a try in him having a dig from close to the line as well.

    All it takes is a injury or two this week and would want the trade back.

    Very tidy first game at centre for McLean. No attacking stats for a 43 is nice
