More or less pretentious than asking for a smashed avo on toast?

Avo on toast sustained me through my teenage years…..it wasn’t smashed then though it was just avo on toast. I still eat it pretty regularly but mostly just scope it out with a knife and spread it on the toast, no smashing involved. Lemon, salt, pepper, chilli sauce done!standard-issue wrote:

On a scale of 1-10 in the pretentiousness stakes I’m probably a 7 (but dropping)

Also an (at home, not that often) avo on toast consumer. Didnt realise ordering it was pretentious, perhaps just basic ?
Probably use 1 - 1.5 avos a week at home (1.5 APW)

Agreed, avo on toast is normal, it's asking for it to be 'smashed' that I meant is pretentious.

Page 31 right here will go down in history as one to remember. I'm telling you right now.
We seem to consume 3 or 4 avo's a week. Scoop it into salads, plop it onto bread, it's a winner.

Put some crab meat in your avo. Salt, pepper, olive oil, lemon juice. Yum.

Vegemite and Avo on toast is a regular in our house. Sounds weird but goes good.
I also see MasterFoods attempted to educate some of you heathens last week to refrigerate your sauce after opening. Probably a waste of their time though.

There are 2 types of people in this World-those who put their sauce in the fridge after it's opened, and those who are wrong.

Veggiemite and avo is great. I also like Vegemite and Honey, the two go well together.
As for the sauce debate, it's ironic you're named AL as in always losing. Just like this debate.

I'm a firm believer of having cover for all positions, unless you have trades spare.RandomSil wrote:
Does that matter? I mean as long as you have enough depth in your EMG guys to slot in as a just in case it shouldn't make a difference. Most people will probably be playing without cover in one or two positions. I have no WFB cover.
I understand that some are willing to take the risk of running without cover, and with a bit of luck it they could pull it off.
I'm expecting there to be a few hail Mary's near seasons end

Yeah, I scoop the avo out onto my two sandwiches every day for work (well, 4 of 5 days). Avo, salmon and baby spinach one day, tuna, avo and baby spinach the other day and then two days of avo, turkey and baby spinach.
It used to just be the two tinned fishes and avo and salads (with avo) on the other days, but super high cholesterol has me re-thinking shit. Whatever the case, avo each day. I used to add mayo to the mix, but trying to stop that. I do love mayo, though.
