I don't think Yeo is in that "hide behind the couch" category. He is consistently great, scores a lot of 60s and 70s, but he isn't the kind of guy to score 100+ like the others are.
A Yeo 70 won't end your season as a non-owner but a Cleary 110 absolutely will
Yeah I agree. It's Ponga and Haas for me. Ponga I could feasibly get in, but would burn two trades of 5 doing so. Haas I'd have to trade someone I don't want to trade to get

This Storm missing Round 26, how confident are we that this will be accurate.
This is my H2H grand final and I currently have Galvin, Grant and Katoa.

Absolutely fair. Whats the couch equivalent of death by a thousand cuts?

Hiding behind the dining room chair....partially hidden from the damage but can still see what's going to happen
Or not washing your teeth...it's feels like it's fine for a few rounds but you just know the dentist is coming up at the end of the season

I reckon its more like watching the game really drunk, yea the games visible, but not properly and you are missing as much as you are seeing

It was Cheese on a podcast, with 2nd hand info from Grant.
Whether it's accurate is anyone's guess

Is this a term I don't have enough dentures to understand?

If makes sense, they are on a short turn around and playing in Townsville.

I know the conventional term is to brush them but my Irish Childhood contractually obliges me to say wash them.....I also call an armpit an oxter

Like I said earlier in a scenario where Panthers beat Storm at home in rd24 the battle for 1st is well and truly on - that rd26 game against Cowboys would certainly matter.
Potentially the Storm decide minor premiership is not the be all and end all and rest anyway who knows. What I do think is that it's very unlikely any decisions have been made about resting plans at this point anyway. Would not base much of anything off Cheese on a podcast.

Minor premiership is pretty big. Much rather face who comes 4th (Sharks/Dogs/Manly/Cowboys) rather than Roosters likely in 3rdBCT05 wrote:Like I said earlier in a scenario where Panthers beat Storm at home in rd24 the battle for 1st is well and truly on - that rd26 game against Cowboys would certainly matter.

Yeah indeed, so I'd be surprised if the Storm actually do any notable restings unless they win in rd24.
Although no doubt there will be some upset that throws this all out anyway.

Storm have been very good but I feel they are not like 15-3 good. Can easily see them dropping the Panthers game plus 1-2 others (probably won't but in range of outcomes).
Likewise everyone is like "4th down are trash" but it doesn't take much for the narrative to change, or for an upset in a knockout final game to force that change.
Expect the unexpected.

I think a lot of the Storm getting to this stage of the season 15-3 comes down to the first 5 wins being total scrape throughs/steals, with a combined in margin of only 22 points across all 5 matches.
After that they have had some more comfortable wins, but those 5 games could have easily gone the other way and they could be anywhere from 3rd to 6th at this point.
Bulldogs the one team below 4th that have the ability to beat anyone and they're one other teams might not want come week one of finals. But really they haven't played finals since 2016, so that might hurt them in crunch games
