After that they have had some more comfortable wins, but those 5 games could have easily gone the other way and they could be anywhere from 3rd to 6th at this point.
Bulldogs the one team below 4th that have the ability to beat anyone and they're one other teams might not want come week one of finals. But really they haven't played finals since 2016, so that might hurt them in crunch games
The biggest improvement between last year and this year for the Storm is that they can grind and scrap their way to a win even when they aren't playing well. They have far more grit and determination than they did last year and they've won games that they would have lost last year (e.g. round 6 vs the Dogs and round 9 vs the Titans)
