Watching a bit of Olympics….my tv broke wrote:Anyone got any off topics theyd like to discuss ?
Is Todd Woodbridge (Great tennis doubles champion & representative of Australia notwithstanding) the most sliced white tip top loaf vanilla television presenter ever.
He has all the Charisma of mid range hotel chain furniture and is a dab hand at a pointless and boring anecdote or fact.
Or am I out of line with this?

No, he is fucking terrible. I can't stand him. Have you seen him on the stupid game show? Holy shit, just dreadful.

A fit Munster would be great at 7s I reckon.
Fifita would be awful, way too unfit

I haven’t seen it but an ad for it came on earlier which prompted both my post and an incredulous ‘why are they giving Mr Wet Cardboard a game show?wolfking wrote:

He’s tolerable as a tennis host (what with his insider knowledge and all) but even then he can make what can be, at times, a pretty boring watch into a real snooze fest. If he’s good at anything it’s making sure you don’t stay up late.

I hope he's good at scoring 7 tries this weekend, amirite?
I will resume being an Eels fan in 2025. Well, I can still be a fan, but nothing wrong with letting a likely-to-score-low-if-he-doesn't-score-several-tries opposing winger score seven tries. Six will do.

Who would you pick from NRL to play sevens?
My number 1 pick is Ponga
Need opinion of @welshy for this
Manu is one name I haven’t seen
I did enjoy it, mainly because it looked more like oztag than an actual game of rugby.
I reckon a few of the girls will end up in NRLW, probably another 5-10 years before the gap is too big to switch

Also slight cheat but didn’t Will Warbrick literally play rugby sevens in the Olympics?

Sua Fa'alogo would be my number 1 pick, he would absolutely carve up 7s or 9s
