NRL Fantasy 2024 Part 61 - Play The One Who Scores The Most Points, Duh

Based on my watching 3-4 games I think with 7s as well as speed, you do need to be a very good 1 on 1 defender and also have a good pass both sides.

So I think some of the names mentioned here probably would struggle on the defence side 

Connor Watson might be a good scrum half option

Moses is deceptively quick, great pass, good tackler. Dylan Brown might go ok too. eels might be playing the wrong sport. RTS. Manu.

Probably want some of the quick/elusive outside guys that also have some good size to them, no idea which ones can actually throw a pass, let alone either way.

Forwards - no idea, do you need them? Maybe the edge guys with a bit skill as well as pace and mobility. Fermor? Terrell May might be fun after seeing him throw that 20m spiral a few months ago. Haas is a freak.

Zac Lomax to captain.

Is there room for a Leniu or NAS? Creating space for others by running over people one on one.

Younger Shaun Johnson would kill it in the 7s as would a prime benji

The fundamental of 7's is fitness, you have to have a crazy engine & tank otherwise you die so quickly out there.

Someone like Fifita would be absolutely torched in 7s.

I'd imagine Edwards would be one of the first picked, fantastic defensively, fast (enough) and huge engine for work and good vision.

Maika Sivo - Fijian, just can't imagine him not being good at 7s.

Some of the others already named like Ponga, Manu no doubt would go well.

I suspect both Jahrome Hughes & Munster (if fit) would be great too

Similarly a fit Turbo

Trai Fuller could be good, he likes to get involved in tackling, doesn't need much space to make a break and wouldn't have to do all that fullback stuff (like catch a high ball, organise defence etc).

A younger Teddy would've been brilliant, probably a bit slow these days.

If I was chucking in a forward it'd probably be Cam Murray

That would suggest that 90% of NRL backs and every NRL fullback would kill it.

I think if u picked 7 squibs from the Nrl u wouldn't lose, wouldn't be caught. Bugger defense, just keep scoring.

Nothing more annoying than ordering a coffee, it's quiet when u order, Ur keen to get back home, a guy walks in and starts chatting to the Barista (they clearly chat often) about how his court case got dropped, and his auntie says his art  is promising, proceeds to pull out his phone to show the Barista... but hesitates with a sideways glance at me. Yeh f***off I just want a coffee. If a barista gets tied up in a convo it always means a bad coffee.

This is so true. Any distraction 9/10 causes a shit coffee.

I've had too many shit coffees lately, I'm boycotting all coffee places and have been for a few months. Except if I'm out specifically for a meal or something. Too often you get shit, cold, weak coffee that is overpriced, can't do it. I'll stick to shit instant at a fraction of the cost.

If you have a local you know that always delivers that's fine, I'm more talking the Zaraffas, Starbucks etc. They can all fuck off.

Yeah I've read discussion elsewhere where people are like "the fitness/intensity" and the "1-on-1 tackling" but MIller wasn't a particularly great 1-on-1 defender and I feel 10m up and back every tackle is decent fitness levels?

Like is it fair to say any NRL back or very mobile forward with actual footy skills, speed could be a decent rugby sevens player with say 6-12 months training
