What about when the NRL handed down a two game suspension for May for an off field incident on the eve of the finals series and he was allowed to serve the ban the following year. Imagine Souths were playing finals this year and Latrell was going to possibly be fit the first week. In that case the NRL would be saying you are serving the ban week 1 regardless of if he would have actually played or not.
What if Latrell gets injured in the off season and his return is round 4? Would he have served his suspension in this scenario?

So we are gonna undermine surgeons and doctors every time are we when a player gets cleared to come back from injury to serve a ban for off field behaviour. So we are gonna full on send an independent trainer each time? Or is it just as it’s Trell I think I know the answer. Unique case but the NRL is amateur hour nobody knows when suspensions can be served etc for all indiscretions it’s not black and white like it should be hence the uproar.
This is bigger than a Trell issue by the way it goes deeper with Abdo and Solly etc………. More to it than Trell.
And to be honest I don’t like Solly or Abdo don’t like either
Anyway I hope Trell does captains run tomorrow lol

Latrell Mitchell’ request to help with the Rabbitohs Friday Night on field warm up was blocked by an NRL official on duty at BlueBet Stadium ahead of their clash with Penrith.
The Daily Telegraph reports a South Sydney employee made the request to an NRL official on hand at the ground before being told NRL rules prohibit a suspended player from entering the playing field on game day.
It is common to see injured players assisting in warm ups and Mitchell had hoped to lend a hand before the move was scuppered.
So if Latrell Mitchell’s suspension isn’t going to take effect until next year then surely the NRL were in the wrong by banning him entering the playing field last week to assist with warm up

Looking at alternative Captain options and fuck it's hard to bet against Yeo in current form. Basically you have to
- Hope Yeo gets reduced minutes due to a blow out
- Hope those reduced minutes result in a low score for him of say a very optimistic 50
- Hope your alternative pick pumps out close to 100
- Hope your alternative pick doesn't pump out a 30 instead and Yeo gets his customary 70/80
I'm probably still going to go someone else but it's not really a solid bet

If i was top 50 or so id probably go Yeo
But im 800ish so ill be going a different option. Its low percentage play for sure. Dont have much to lose. Although could drop from prestigious league 1. Hmm maybe will play it safe hahaha

Yeah, I've got about 120 points to make up on someone in a 'first past the post' comp. He's flagging but he has Yeo so have to assume that's his captain.....was leaning towards Hughes or Ponga (maybe Hynes as a total POD, weird as that is to say)

Yeah I voted for him in the community team poll, Bunnies without Murray & Wrasslin' Jack (I'll leave listing the other 26/17 injuries to young Rabbits) & Teddy may have to do a bit more playmaking with SWalker out
I've been flip flopping on him or Hughes as my last trade in

I'm sitting just inside the top 500 and would like to stay there so will probably go Yeo. I can't see much upside not going Yeo. He'll still tear up the middle of the Titans. I don't have many other options anyway. Tapine maybe but could play less minutes. Cook? Hmm.....last game, probably scores 48. Ponga I don't think will have it all his own way and has screwed me before.
Patty probably still a safe bet but I think Storm attack the edges and score a lot.

Tough. I'd maybe go Hughes as the trade in over Ted, but it's not clear cut.

Best last trade in option up to 700K? Already have Pongdong. Options I'm looking at are;
Luai
Lucas (If still starting 2nd row)
Watson
Angus
Brown (could score well against the Tigers)
Munster (could go either way. Probably scores 34 or 98)
To'o (hope for a bounce back factor against the Titans)
Fuller or Hammer (hope they can junk up against the Knights)
Would probably just spend the entire bank going Preston but not playing 80 is silly. What do we think?

Luai (Like it vs the Tits)
Lucas (If still starting 2nd row) (Also like this one at 2nd row)
Watson (have him but who knows the plan?)
Angus (Broncos edges are shit.....needs the ball though)
Brown (could score well against the Tigers) (or could not...owner)
Munster (could go either way. Probably scores 34 or 98) (hasn't really looked like likely)
To'o (hope for a bounce back factor against the Titans) (Titans are dumb enough to kick to him)
Fuller or Hammer (hope they can junk up against the Knights) (nah)

I probably like the first two the best plus Angus

I was on Watson early but I'm definitely leaning more towards Luai or Lucas. Should know by the time Fifita locks out if KPP is in and Lucas remains starting or not.

I feel that it’s been a reactionary year with all injuries we haven’t all been able to necessarily do the moves we want to cash Gen was too slow as was jumping on guys too late. I missed J. Hughes and Wishart.
Tapine and Plath great for me off top of my head.
Soro and Matto flopped as did taking Kini round 1. There is probs more but I’ll analyse it later.
Bateman bit me badly too as did buying Drinky at 750k.
Oh and how can I forget Shitili
Getting Wighton at 390k was good.
