    Anyone else have to shut off the sound last night due to Gould's incessant whinging? He was horrendous last night..
    Would love to have the option of game sounds/ ref mic only.
    The only thing I'd miss are the in game injury updates

    Semi will be a popular trade in in the next few weeks. Especially with Barba and Mitchell getting close to peaking and Semi's favourable bye schedule. The POD move may be bringing him in early and getting an 80 or so from him before others jump on

    funny you mention this. i've got foxtel so have watched everything on that so far this year, and its been great, but last night was the first game this season i've had to watch with channel 9 commentary.

    i was only able to start watching the game in the second half and within 5-10 minutes had to put the moron patrol on mute. it was infuriating to listen to. even my gf, who has only started watching NRL this season (due to my influence) couldn't handle listening to them jibber on. (she loves vossy's commentary haha).

    by the same token - are there any sites that accurately list injuries that happen during games in one easy spot?

    not so much from each game, but injury list that seems to be updated after every weekend for players missing 1 or more weeks. http://www.zerotackle.com/rugby-league/injuries-suspensions/

    lists persons injury, probable return, and a link to where they sourced their info. For example SST has been updated since last week

    Ahhhh you're right... I'm just annoyed at the BE of 77.
    Is Taupau a season keeper? If yes, his price fluctuating is not a problem.

    Well if he continues to post up scores as he did last week he is. If he scores well this week I may jump on the Merrin train.

    merrin actually pulled his finger out in defense last week. even without his try, his base stats were season high, with 37 tackles and zero missed, no falling off tackles like in the early weeks. maybe its just that he's gotten over the virus, or he got a kick up the ass, but i hope he keeps it up.

    @SI
    In english with a time frame please, got him in VSDT

    An eversion sprain is pretty much the opposite of a "normal" sprain (inversion sprain)-you roll your foot outwards instead of inwards. Quite rare, but if you watch the footage you can see his foot rolls out sharply and suddenly so initially I thought that's what it was.

    But later on he was icing his shin about halfway up which suggests he's strained the muscles which run down the front of your tibia that flex your foot there, that would make sense with the eversion force he copped. Either that or other soft tissue there anyway. If that's the case it could range from no time off to a lot, depending on the severity.

    Good news is it looked a bit too high for a classic syndesmosis injury.

    Parramatta lock Tepai Moeroa came off before halftime with a shin injury and did not return but the club is hopeful the 20-year old has only suffered a bone bruise and will be fit for next week.

    not fantasy relevant, but gotta love the DT, at hte top of the article they say injuries this week and include 'Lachlan Maranta (knee) — out for eight weeks', but then under 'Brisbane Broncos' - NO INJURIES..

    @Monty/Fan League

    I think I asked you this over at Sportal a while ago, but what do the green + red highlights mean on the players again?

    Thanks.

    "only" a bone bruise. I know it doesn't sound that bad but they can be.
