Have had a lot of interactions with players due to connections etc. and mostly in social situations. They are all just like the rest of us. They play footy and that's their passion not being a role model, that's a media thing. I've seen stories written about guys so that the club could get out of a contract that I know are onesided bullshit because I was there. There was only once I was drinking with a player and a random fan bought him a middy, he let it fall through his hands and smash on the floor and said " too small". Lost all respect for that tigers legend.

This is up there with one of the worst final series ever, it’s been a colossal waste of time, we’ve known who’s playing the grand final since the regular season finished and the Dogs/Eagles game is the only one that’s had any sense of drama about it

Picked the African language as a differential. Was looking like masterstroke early on but ended at 45.

Only picked Watson and Suaali’i and heavily backing Panthers for finals fantasy. Biggest miss was probably Terrell May who got lucky

You’re good, I can’t remember who I pick about 0 minutes after I hit submit. Think I had Watson, May and Katoa

Middling performance in finals fantasy this week from me, nailed the Hughes, Grant and May picks but got Teddy, Ekat and Meaney very wrong. Yeo (C) is my only one left.

More importantly, stoked to see the Storm make another GF after the heartbreak of 2021. If anyone's ever ending the Panthers dynasty, it's this team.

Well done Roosters I’ll say on getting to the prelim enjoy that but I’m predicting them to miss the top 8 next year that was my prediction along with Walters to be sacked before origin next year but that’s come early.

Madge to Brisbane hhhmmmm lucky kents that’s a bloody good appointment. I’m calling it now Souths and Broncos to make the 8 next year along with Raiders or Dragons. 3 will make it that didn’t next year.

Penrith, Storm, Dogs, Sharks will all be in the 8 again I predict, Cows, Roosters, and Manly or Knights all at risk of dropping out.

Alternatively;
The Roosters have made the finals for the last 8 years straight, with 2 premierships in that time.

Souths made the finals in 5 of those years (still pretty good), won no premierships, and managed to come runners up for the wooden spoon this year.

I imagine Roosters fans probably feel ahead on balance....
