So much for my shit posting when something like this drops. Good to see profit put before loyalty. It's a business. I've worked for the same company for 30 years, probably haven't had a proper interview in 10 - 15. You keep your job because you are good at what you do or other people will offer you more to do it for them. If I was as shit as him at my job, I'd be out the door. Meanwhile people are knocking down the door to hire some 80 year old dude to coach.

If I have a choice between Mozer and Mamouzelos I’ll probs end up with Mozer. Knowing me I’ll have both I mean Levi was shit and still made solid cash I guess Mamouzelos could do the same!
I'm pretty confident Mamouzelos is the worst player in the NRL. I'm also pretty confident he will be in my fantasy team

Trell pulls out of playing in the Koori but will coach a side instead.
Latrell was definitely fit for the last round of the season though right

Kevvie going is not a massive surprise to me, he seems to be both a very nice man and a bit of a 'vibes' coach. Unfortunately when the vibes turn bad or indeed you need to adjust your game plan it's a bit of a hit and miss approach. 'Play your footy' is not going to work against teams with a clear plan particularly when you aren't at full strength.
(this is pure opinion by the way, I don't have a mate's cousins sister who knows the assistant groundsman or anything)
There aren't many 'vibes' coaches left in the NRL. Maybe Old Uncle Wayne is the most famous/successful but tbh I think that's a bit of a ruse and a lot more planning goes into his approach than he lets on.

I reckon he’s fit to play but Wayne has pulled him out behind closed doors.BCT05 wrote:

The NRL integrity unit and the Brisbane Broncos are investigating a late-night incident at a Bali nightspot involving Broncos superstars Reece Walsh and Ezra Mam.
A complaint has been lodged with head office and the Broncos over the alleged behaviour of the star duo towards a fan seeking a selfie with the Brisbane No.1.
It is alleged the fan tried to take a selfie with Walsh before Mam intervened and took the phone from him. According to the complaint, the phone has since gone missing.
The NRL integrity unit confirmed it was aware of the complaint and is investigating.
The Broncos said they were aware of the incident but declined to comment.

SMH article runs with the player/club version
- guy was filming Walsh all day, his own friend apologised for the guys behaviour and suggested to Mam he take the phone
- it's been allegedly dropped/lost/damaged (not even sure this all happened at the same time)'
- then the guys dad has written to NRL demanding a replacement phone is paid for or the media will hear about it
- Mam already paid for the phone, then it's in the papers anyway
Truth probably somewhere in between but ultimately NRL integrity unit will have to investigate and likely give them a suspended fine because it's not worth finding the truth and/or the unwarranted media heat

I think the moral to the story is leave players alone when they just want to get blackout drunk and possibly more in their short offseason break

Btw article has a picture of both in Bali and Walsh has pink nail polish. I suspect that will outrage people more than smashing the dudes phone. A lot of profile pics of jetskis, utes and barramundis gonna be fired up.

The words I heard on the street were 'Elephant Ride', 'Cheap Drink', 'Good Price' and 'Mushrooms?'

Every interaction I've had with players when on the drink they've all been lads about it. Number one rule is have your own bag they don't want to share, second is don't take your phone out. Third, repeat rule one.

Almost as if acting like a normal human around other normal humans results in normal human interactions
