Jaxson Paulo to Cows.
Raymond Veaga extends with Manly, they’ve also signed Chee Kam and Patolo is a train and trial contract.
Addo Carr very close to signing with Parra.
Tigers, Dogs, Dragons and Eels all after Terrell May.
Courier Mail reporting Bunt to meet with Broncos in next 48 hours, Roosters still very interested.
Courier Mail reporting Lodge has found a club but Lodge wouldn’t say who. I’ve heard rumours Dragons, Souths and Knights have been after him.
Edwards, Cleary and Talagi will all be racing the clock to be fit for round 1. Edwards and Talagi in more doubt than Cleary.
Another rumour is Dragons are pushing hard for Daniel Atkinson. As for the Rugby 7’s guy they signed I’ve seen him play he’s very very fast
Souths have resumed pre season Wayne to arrive in 2 weeks Schuster has come back in overweight and has a lot of work to do. There are wraps on youngster Haizyn Mellars he’s a winger had some bad injuries last 2 years but he’s bulked up a lot apparently trampled both AJ and Munro previously at training last pre season and he’s way stronger now than last pre season. If he stays fit expect him to debut at some point next year. The club feels he could be our long term winger with Munro for the next decade. Mellars is 193cm tall and a very big frame.

"Ding Dong... the King is Dead"
and to take a quote from Jack Gibson
"There's always free cheese in a mousetrap"
Gutho was not doing enough to earn the moolah he was on. I'll enjoy seeing him accepting mediocrity with the Dragons rather than the Eels

"Predicted" Magic Round accom (May 16-18) is already pretty much gone. Insane prices for what is left and that was back when I booked a few different options a couple of weeks ago.
I foresee a couple of dozen Fanatics pitching tents in MTB's backyard-read into that as you see fit...

In saying that, happy for you to pitch your tent in my unit Camo...
On the provision though that you actually wear an ice pack on your head this time.

Though Women’s Origin has now been put on Thursday May 1 at Suncorp, so if it aligns to this year Magic Round would be that weekend

NRL confirms here that magic round is the same weekend as womens origin, so may 2-4

was just looking at booking dot com out of interest, far out, expensive. there are a few cheaper/more reasonable options at kangaroo point, worth considering imo since the new foot bridge opens at the end of this year which goes straight across the river into the city. can also ferry across easily.

It is a risk
Reading between the lines in media, seems like the main reason the Roosters cut him is he plays footy cos he’s good at it and it pays rather than some undying love of the game.
Season at the Tigers might have him yearning to lay bricks or pour concrete

He's a May; I'm pretty sure he will ruin himself at some point (probably sooner than later if you ask Robbo)

He's not going to be cheap, so doubt he's at autopick level.
Certainly going to be looked at though

I can't see how a season with us would increase anyone's love of the game
If he just managed to avoid any off-field trouble would just about consider that a win.
Attitude or not, he was one of the Roosters best forwards last year.
Naufua Whyte also did OK, and they have Leniu so I guess they are happy enough with their depth to cut him loose. But if he can come close to last years form and stay out of trouble, its a big win for the Tigers
