yeah that’s where we tentatively booked with free cancellation 

Though Women’s Origin has now been put on Thursday May 1 at Suncorp, so if it aligns to this year Magic Round would be that weekend

Just cancelled and re-booked everything. A couple of rooms in SouthBank still left at reasonable prices (350 a night).

was just looking at booking dot com out of interest, far out, expensive. there are a few cheaper/more reasonable options at kangaroo point, worth considering imo since the new foot bridge opens at the end of this year which goes straight across the river into the city. can also ferry across easily.

Potential rookie HOK to watch out for this season is Ryley Smith from the Eels.

Could be a smoky to start this season... I also like the look of Joash Papalii on the WING

Hey mate all booked this morning once I knew when it was I went online quicker than you could blink got a 5 star hotel cheaper than 4 star hotels. Did not pay a woeful price but it’s still bloody expensive just checked a few mins ago the accomodation would now cost $600 more if I booked now. I’ll be up there 4 nights arrive Thursday and leave Monday. 

I’m hoping to meet some of you guys up there. Magic Round has always been on my bucket list. I’ll be sitting with the Burrow for Souths game day. The other 2 days I’m free to sit wherever the plan is to sit with BL one of the other 2 days etc….. would be nice to meet you too mate.

Booked my flights earlier today too wasn’t too bad.

The Perth Origin is a bit strange going back to a Wednesday. I mean it feels more traditional, which is great, but if it's a 6 O'clock kick off here I feel like it will affect crowd numbers.

I'll be grabbing early next year, I am not worried about getting great seats personally, it's more just being there. And that will give any other interested posters a chance as well to get those of us who want to be seated together.

Yes, just have to assume he gets decent minutes every week (40+), which wasn't the case at the Roosters, and he's going to be underpriced and in every serious team.
