I was assuming the rookie crop will improve around Origin time.

Need a WFB or CTR under $145k that's likely to play at least Rd 12..
Any chance Eden gets a re-call for Origin cover?
Also, slightly out of your price range but Edrick Lee is close to the 145k currently at 159k with a BE of 32 so he may creep closer to $145 over the next couple of weeks....

eden is still 'next cab' off the rank, at least while maranta is out injured. he's currently on standby incase oates is ruled out this week.
i'd say kahu plays fb in rnd 12 and eden comes onto a wing..

Parcell >> Kennar
&
A.taylor >> JDB
OR
Parcell > Holland
&
Carty > JDB
Not sure I can put up with Carty for much longer. As a Raiders supporter its hard enough getting through a weekend.
Also think Holland despite being more expensive is a safer bet.
Cons: Burning trades

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 26
I'm dumping BLaw from my previously named 17, and giving the final R to Ash Taylor. They're both likely to only score 20's anyway, but I figure Ash has more potential to fluke his way to a decent score.
That and Manly (specifically Barrett trying to pretend he's a real coach) have proven themselves to be completely unreliable with team news. Naming suspended players (BLaw and Taupau), keeping JTrb's injury quiet, doing the same again last week with Parcell and BLaw, playing Steve Matai. The list goes on.
With a bit of luck, I'll be on the road from Sydney on Sunday instead of Monday, so I should be able to take the R off Parcell if he's out and choose from Kennar, KBrom and now BLaw if he's definite.

Eden, yes highly likely as Maranta is injured rnd 13, Boyd playing origin and Oates possibly too
As for Edick, everyone who played last year would say "stay right away", he is priced that way for a reason, I'm pretty sure nobody will pick him

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 26
I've noticed a lot of interest around Lolohea recently and Renegades are jizzing themselves over him. I was thinking I might miss out on his so called $100K increase that's being bandied about so I done some research to help anyone who is unsure and hasn't access to these statistics
In his 1st grade career, he has had 12 starts at fullback (I included last weeks score as a fullback start too) for an average of 37.25 and he is currently priced at 31.7, using the magic number of 8940 like at the start of the year. Alternatively his average is 35.2 if you don't include last weeks score.
Hope this info helps someone

with lolo i guess you have to go on gut feel in that he's another year older and should now be a better player, eg milford, mbye, etc.
i can understand renegades getting excited though. haha. lolo does look very dangerous with teh ball, huge step, etc

There are a lot of kiwis on Renegades and Warriors players often get a good run there.

Is there somewhere else you can make up the cash aside from Parcell?
Pushing any player into hooker/trading in a cheap hooker at this stage is probably not a great idea with few options going around.
As soon as your main hooker goes down mid round you could be stuck with a Nikorima or someone as the only cover. I'd only be trading Parcell to a gun or a cashcow like Garvey was at the start of the season.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 26
With RTS out for the season the wfb position becomes really hard to pick and aim for who you want in your final 17. tedesco is the only certainty post origin. I actually had rts and mansour as the other two, but now I am not too sure. may have to seriously consider barba or mitchell as keepers

Mitchell is definitely a potential keeper but Barba probably will be below par on averages, it's a bit of wait-and-see when his price peaks to see who might be the best options.
Semi is cheap and a potential keeper, Mansour could lift, Munster/Naiqama are the two highest scorers aside from Tedesco so far and there are several others floating around who could push for higher scores.
There's also every chance that a couple of clear centre-keepers pop up and then you can have Dugan as part of that back three.

Well then I certainly won't be going to check out Renegades anytime soon.
I skipped the country for a reason!

Yeah i definitely had dugan in the ctrs. I'm really trying to minimise the amount of trades I will make by keeping the final 17 in mind at all times.
The problem is that its the only area I need fixing at the moment which makes things hard

Yeah I see your point, I guess I have no confidence in Parcel returning in a round or two and getting as solid game time. So he will be own little expensive Jnik. (is how I see it going). I could retain Parcel, and go Taylor to Kennar, He might have more money in him in the short term, not sure about points.
