Saifiti has peaked it looks like but wont be losing much cash, and Carter wont lose any but is a trade now as well. Neither trades are pressing.
    H. Hunt I would look at becoming a Keeper due to Holland potentially moving out of the side in coming weeks and Dugan playing Origin.
    T. Turbo would look great becoming Radradra for over the bye rounds.
Taylor would be a hold. Low BE and again not losing you money.
Hastings has a low BE and no idea how he will score with Pearce. I would hold him as well. Also wouldn't go Brock Lamb just yet as haven't the Knights named another Rookie to start? Brown has been dropping and changing the side on a weekly basis based on form so he could get shuffled around and dropped.

If I were you T. Turbo to Radradra and J. Saifiti to cheapie.

Thanks for the detailed reply, mate.

The question now is which cheapie 2RF or FRF to bring in if I walk this path.

T-Turbo ---> Semi is definitely the most tempting of the trades but those single digit scores from earlier in the year are putting me off at this stage. Might just pull the trigger anyway.

Either way, looks like I won't be upgrading my halves this round.

It's nothing to do with confidence, it's actually got to do with the fact the rest of his team are stepping it up in defence. Peats himself has stated he hasn't had to make as many tackles as he used to because of guys like Beau Scott picking up the slack.
Since Scott will likely play Origin Peats might rack up those big scores in the bye rounds but I don't think he's a keeper HOK this year so I won't be trading him in.

    Thanks.

Cooper if you're looking for more bye coverage with a bit of POD on the side.
    Taupau for best average.

K.Sims/Ma'u if you want someone who's going to go down injured in a couple of weeks.

Surely Tolman is worth a look in? Has good byes and usually goes on a run each year where he is one of the top scoring FRF. He will bounce back at some point and has almost bottomed out. Just my 2 cents...

Afternoon gentleman. Not sure really what to do this week. To trade or not to trade.

So 21 trades left, 104k in the war chest.

As it stands after round 8.

    Smith / Parcell
    JDB / Surgess / BLaw / Packer
    Whitehead / Ma'u / Taumalolo / Aubusson / BHenry / Leuluai
    Johnson / Hastings / Taylor / Feeney
    CLaw / Holland / Lolohea / Kennar
    Barba / Teddy / Munster / Mitchell / Gutherson

    Any thoughts?

I think Packer has peaked, but plays good byes, Taumalolo and Ma'u have good byes, but are only getting 40's. BLaw, will he keep producing yoyo scores?

Going to hold Lolohea. Taylor doesn't need to go yet.

hard to tell but i think he should solidify his spot/mins as time goes on. i think vave will slowly drop off in mins and eventually out of the 17. he had a good period but he just looks too big/slow. fonua blake is another monster but younger/fitter and probably takes on that 'impact' role. myles also seems to be playing slightly less mins now (cos he's shit and slow?).

buhrer back soon too (but he wont affect BLaw)

To me I'd be holding those 40 ish players who play Round 12. No reason why Lolo doesn't have a massive score soon and he is averaging his price.

With BLaw, that "try" was a 22 point play. Minus that and he scores 35.

So common consensus would be to just bank the trades?

The only trade/s I was contemplating was Taylor to Hunt, but a downgrade of some sort would be required.

These last two weeks my team's been stagnant at 8.2m. Last year I peaked at 8.4 and finished up at 8.2, with a fairly consistent 900+ point side (never broke 1k though).

With that in mind, I'm going somewhat risky from now on.

    Final Draft:

    (C)am, Parcell
    JTrb, BLaw, JBrom
    Ma'u, Cartwright, Fensom, THarris, KBrom
    Milford, Hastings
    JRoberts, Ferguson
    Barba, Gordon, Munster

NPR: Gavet, A. Papalii, Lamb, Feeney, Gutherson, Lolohea, Kennar, Bowen.

With 119k in the bank, next week Hastings becomes BHunt depending on urgency OR Gordon becomes Tedesco and Ferguson any 130k nobody. The latter would leave me with Guth filling in CE until Lolo returns and only Kennar as my AE (not ideal but fine for now).

The 3rd and final upgrade I'm looking at is KBrom to Tolman. Trouble is, Tolman should start increasing in price finally, so he may become more urgent than the Hastings > BHunt and Gordon > Tedesco trades.

At current prices, I'm $287k short of straight upgrades, but ~150k from Ferg's cashout makes up a decent amount. Then I'll be scraping 47k from Gavet and 94k from Guth or hopefully Kennar and Bowen can make some more.

Looks a gun packed 17, but I'm not sure if I'll even have an 18th man after all that. I'm more focused on my 14 team H2H though, with byes across the 3 shortened rounds, so here's hoping it pays off.

alright. i dont usually ask for team advice, anyone have any thoughts on trades here? 25 trades and 20k in the bank:

    (C)am, Hodgson
    Surgess, JDB, Lawrence, Leuluai
Fensom, Taupau, Merrin, Whitehead, Moeroa, Edwards.
    Hastings, Norman, Taylor, TMM
    Aubbs, Holland, Hunt, Auvaa
    Mansour, Barba, Mitchell, Gutherson, Feeney.

obviously i have hunt and TMM to trade out but i dont see any particularly great options. i'm happy to hold aubbs this week as i reckon he might pick up a meat pie against the knights. Taylor also a hold..

TMM - Knights Rookie Half (Whoever gets the gig, maybe wait a week too?) so that you can do Hastings-Gun HLF
Hunt - Vunivalu if you want to get a bit more cash.
