That's right. Sometimes you need to think of it like this. Would I be more upset if:

    A) I traded in Lamb now for 130k, he played and scored 15 and wasn't named next week. Stuck with a dud NPR and wasted a trade.
    B) I waited to see how Lamb played before trading him in. He played well and scored 40 points, rose 15k in price and was named next week. Trade him in next week at 145k.

I'm sure most people would be more upset with scenario A.

The way I'm seeing it is a straight cash out for TMM. If Lamb does good then yay for me. If not then that's fine. Didn't plan on having 4 scoring halves at the end of the year, and with Hastings and Taylor still there to be upgraded when the time is right I can afford to potentially cut off a position

I think I'm going to swallow my pride and right the wrong of last week.

    Mansour -> Rapa.
Means I'll be riding the Raiders form week in week out with Croker, BJ and Rapa all in my backline but fuck it, I'm not winning the thing anyway.

I'm beginning to get trade itch in regards to the halves position...
a lot of teams are looking very similar in most positions.
I think the difference will be made in the choice of halves this year...
after Taylor and Hastings peak who will be the target?

Trading in Rapana for 400k is madness. You will regret it. It might not be next week or the week after. But mark my words. You will regret it.

NOTE: For 80k less, you could have Semi - a far better player, a more explosive player and a player with a far higher ceiling who has bottomed out (or close to). Buy low. Sell high. That's how you invest.

A lot will depend on how you bye plan there I think. You either grab Norman/Foran. ride them through Origin period then go from there, or you spend the money now on Milford/Hunt and hope they outscore them in the other weeks. One is likely to save you some money but the other is likely to net you more points so just depends what you do with the money and what the rest of your origin plans are

I Agree that I'm not buying him at an ideal time, but I disagree that Semi is a better player.

To me Rapa has the same Ceiling but appears to have a higher floor (Ignoring the RD 1 score as I can't for the life of me remember what happened there). His combination with BJ is lethal and what's impressed me most is that they both go looking for the ball all over the field. They scored an almost length of the field try on the opposite side to where they line up and its not the first time. It's not an ideal time to buy as I said, but if I view him as a keeper then I'm gambling on him keeping up scores of 50+ and with those, he won't get cheaper.

It's not so bad guys, the worst part is that I keep pondering the prospect of having Frizz in my team. A quick reminder that he plays for a mob who has collectively scored less than (C)roker this season sorts it out though.

I would rather Friz in his short shorts over those shower of twats I currently own in mine

Fantasy related, Friz is a great fantasy option

3 Dragons too much - JDB, M. Cooper & Widdop

Up against the Warriors could be a good points haul.

I have JDB and Frizz. They'll have no tackles to make probably

Nope, I'm hoping for 3 or 4 soon. Widdop is going to cause you some heart ache though.
