I just think he took it upon himself. Plus he seemed to have a decent boot compared to Hodkinson so why not? lol!

I was looking at Mooper but he stunk it up today. Might spend big on Munster.

I have 25 trades but am not doing very well. I think about 20-22 is the general average.

Yeah I missed the Warriors game. Any reason why Mooper stunk it up?

Looks like Hastings could be a keeper, same with Mitchell.  Barba needs to pull finger but expecting a few more points from him.  Spewing I played Bhana over Fergo.  Looks like Fergo can stay, I thought too Pearce back would help him but Bhana in the starting lineup was too tempting.  Too bad he was fucking shit and will probably now be dropped.  Lamb looks good though.  If Hodko goes to origin too he's definitely staying in the team.

He's definitely still on notice here. Bought himself a couple of weeks just for potential price rises. 60 with a hattrick isn't particularly great, though with all the troops back his attacking stats may increase, but not enough to make him worth holding imo.

i've got 18 trades left, double traded every week, made some fucking dumb trades at that - but im going to pull the 'this is my first year playing and i dont know any better' card. will try to resist the urge this week, but norman without foran is interesting

Two of the tries were from kicks though, only the second one which I would image would have a linebreak and the tackle bust. But year, 3 tries from a centre would normally equate to a 80-90 point game. Yeah, if he gets origin he'll probably need to go, but when you have Gordon and Mansour, he looks pretty good at the moment. Shocked

Yeah I think I'm probably going to need him until Rd 13 when Eels and Dragons have a bye. Gordon out for Aitken doesn't help that week and no Gutherson either. Kennar's injury was also unexpected.. leaves me a bit thin.

Only 4 out of my 17 players reached or surpassed their average this week. And one of those was Russell Packer whose average was 32. Terrible. The pack of sorry losers are lucky I can only trade out 2 at a time.

To be honest, as a Norman owner I am more worried with Foran out.
I know he did great this game with a try and doubling his average tackle count, but he was already getting most of the km with Foran there. I think having Foran to steady the ship allows Norman to be a more creative player. I am not steering you away (even with the extra 60k on what I paid, at 400k I still think he is a steal!) but I would be happier if Foran was there for his fantasy scores.

Me too. Looking back at my first few weeks of trading, what the hell was I doing? I trade a guy in after week 1 and out by week 4. I have no recollection of even owning him. Not to mention my original team being made up of complete embarrassments.
No saving trades for me though, I've got WAY too much money sitting in my backs and not enough forwards.

Just saw this. Ouch. Many people with Guth on bench like me but would never realistically play him unless you had to. Sucks when you've kept the faith on someone and they come good the week you bench/trade them

In theory he will get ALOT more chances in the attacking zone because nearly everything will go through him as opposed to Splitting with Foran but that also means that defences will key in on Norman more, I think his scoring average will be higher without Foran

I hope you are right. He did play for 40 mins as the main man in round 1 for a score of 13, but got injured. Guess we will see in the coming weeks.

i would love to get him in, but i need to conserve trades and outside of that i really have no way to easily get in him apart from a hasting trade which doesnt make a lot of sense currently. oh well.

I bought Mooper in this week by finally getting rid of Kevans. He played 6 or 7 minutes less than the last couple of weeks. Not sure if the plan or not but he went off with 5 minutes to go and JDB came back on. Seemed strange but didn't see an injury.

Well at least I made the decision of joining in with the cool kids and captaining Smith. Worried about Gillett in the updates, wearing that Hannibal thing over his face made him miss a ton of tackles or seemed like it. I counted about 5 or 6
