what baffles me is why any eels supporter would want to stick behind the club if the 5 drongos that put them in this position aren't removed.
if i was an eels fan and they continued on at the club i'd hand in my membership.

Have they back-flipped or has their hand been forced by the courts? I haven't followed this very closely but I heard the Eels won a supreme court injunction relating to the 5 the other day and wondered if what has eventuated today was an extension of that? Either way the whole thing is messy....

I'm a Hopoate owner & he won't play the next 3 games as they're Sunday games so he'll be back round 13. But I read previously on here that his church granted permission for him to play. Ironically I purchased him a week before he made that announcement. I'll wait until team lists for round 10 but if he's not named then I'll sell because chances are if he doesn't play next round he'll be sticking to his values. I'm pretty well set up for round 12 so I'll probably bring in Munster as he's a keeper.
What are other Hopoate owners doing.

We should morph the Haka into the running man - seems to be the viral thing of the week
In all seriousness despite us seeming to have the edge in the forwards lately, I just can't see how we will be able to win. We don't have the depth to replace Foran, SKD, RTS, Mannering and Luke.

Spot on mate. This is what's wrong with modern society. The rich live in a separate state where they can break the rules & get away with it. Just look at the bankers/traders like Goldman Sachs/Wall Street who caused the financial crisis but do they get sent to prison. No they get rewarded with bail outs & bonuses. It's a sick world of greed & self interest that we live in.

Wondering who has Hopoate. Hes been in my centers from the beginning up until this week now that I have traded
Aitken for Mansour.
I wonder who has planed around hopoate being a keeper in WFB ?
Currently flying with Hopoate/Barba/L Mitchel:NPR Gordon/Kennar and Holland/Altken:NPR Chee-Kam/Auva'a
Only real short term concern in WFB is Gordon's plummeting price :-|
Looking forward to kick off tonight, hopefully will turn out to be a cracker.

wolfking wrote:People predicting a big Aussie win, but not sure why. I think it will be a close one. The last three games the Kiwi's have just been hungrier, simple as that. Hopefully some of that hungry from Origin 3 can be on show tonight.
People also predicted a landslide win for Australia two years ago when Ben Henry started at Hooker, Isaac John was on the bench and Tohu Harris started at 5/8. Before you know it the Kiwis were leading 18-12 at half-time.
Things don't always turn out the way they're expected to.

Yeah, last week he almost single-handedly sunk my h2h ship. Only won by 3 points with everyone scoring well or okish spare him and Barba.

I hope this plays out as well as he's a good consistent scorer & he always seems to get good points upgrades after the game. He's averaging 40 atm & I hope he has a change of heart.
