Even though I'm a QLDer, I was super impressed with Gallen and glad he is in the team.  He should keep his spot, he was excellent and has been playing well all year.

    All of this.

With the feeney option I will have an extra reserve to play for a few weeks in taylor who has scored a little better than my other options (blaw, gutho, gordon, bhana). Also gets rid of a red dot which is always a good thing? but i will probably have to use 2 trades now to take care of taylor, and then lamb later on.

If i move taylor on then thats a peaked playing being milked, and gives me 350k for making trades in the future. Also i am thinking that it saves one trade as i may keep feeney till the end. ANyone one elese in this position have a different perspective?

Not much in there to justify trading Feeney mate. Taylor netts $200,000 plus more cash, saves you at least 1 trade, and he doesn't play Rd 12. Understand it's tempting to get rid of the red dot, but if you are killing off a half spot later anyway, then the 200k and trade is a fair incentive.

You forgot to mention that it is ad-free and HD!
You are dead on though, that was the first game i've watched on nine this year- I never realized the gap between the broadcasters was so high until now. I do miss Rab's voice (that shit wins out on nostalgia points alone), but so often now he gets players names wrong, and his pretend arguments with Gould drive me nuts. I hear this is his last season though, Nine will be doomed when he goes.
But for guys like me, who get the shakes if I don't watch all 8 games each week, there is no other alternative to Fox Sports.  I pay $50 per month for this, so lets say $12.5 per week. I am paying just $1.50 for every NRL game I watch. That, my friends, is what I call- a fucking bargain! Mathematically, I can't afford not to! It really has been the only reason I have Foxtel. Though, having Game of Thrones screened live on my RDO recently has been pretty neat Razz

Yep, it is purely the only reason I got it as I watch all 8 games as well. I would be deadset lost without it.

Man, Junior Kiwi's Haka was way better than 1st grade.
Some of those boys last night looked like they were just going through the motions.
-A silly dance they were made to do, just get it done to get on with the game.
It's all in the eyes. Every junior kiwi's eyes were sparkling with passion and aggression.
Much more intimidating to watch, and you could see the energy it gave them straight afterward.

*Obligatory comment: that even though I am a devout NRL man, I will concede that no haka will ever beat an Allblack haka.

Are they going to play "Come with me" before every game this weekend?
    So weird.

Totally disagree, All Blacks just seem to go through the motions these days.

Luke and Adam Blair leading the haka from about 3-4 years ago was the height of the kiwi haka.
I remember even watching the game last year (ANZAC test) and thinking straight from the haka that the team was extremely fired up. Just seemed missing this year for whatever reason.

Will see if I can find the link of last year's haka... and we were fired up and we won. Very Happy

OK not as fired up as I remember but you can tell Luke, Taupau and Vatuvei meant business.

I assumed everyone here had foxtel ! How could you not. It is so cheap.

I thought last nights Haka was very short, has it been reduced ? It was very flat indeed. I always love it, usually.

I called them to "cancel" my account and they offered me sports + HD + basic for $45 which I took.

They then gave my friend the same package for $32 per month.

    I'll be calling back.

They're actually tallying Fantasy points for these rep games. Like even in the Junior Kangaroos vs Jr Kiwis they tallied up some points. Curtis Scott got 39 which to me says please Bellamy get him back in the team so I have one less red dot. I wonder why they have fantasy points running when they don't even a match day thing set up.

Hey I'd like to cancel my service
    Why?
Because it's too expensive and I can get Netflix and NRL league pass and not pay as much
So if we could lower the package would you commit to staying because we don't want to lose you.

Hmm I don't think so, maybe.
They'll then offer you something. Knock it back and say you're still better off going elsewhere. Eventually they'll give you a bargain price and I said I'll take it for now and call back if I'm not happy.

I also threw in because they lost the EPL so I don't need it anymore, they told me about bringing in LA Liga and stuff but I just said I held no interest in that.
