One thing though is look how consistent this site is overall, did we end up getting this made our 'Official league' in the end?

You aren't doing well? But you always give such good advice! Still, plenty of time in the season to turn things around. Though sometimes (as most attest), you just have shit seasons. I had a shocker in 2014- very disappointing after spending all off season in withdrawals looking forward to it, and then spending all my free time desperately trying to save a sinking ship.
(Or maybe you are like one of those guys who gives awesome relationship advice but never has a girlfriend ).

I bet mine is way worse than both of you. Though for a bit of context as to how far I've come, I was ranked below 50,000th after round 2 I'm improving, but am still cleaning up the mess I made in the first few week when I had no clue what was going on.

So thanks FF and everyone here!
Getting back up to the Sportal level of quality posters was a tough ask but the forum has been tremendous.
Random tends to drag it down, but thankfully he's been busy lately

Tim Grant perplexes me, with Woods back and potentially ET waiting in the wings would it be wise to upgrade him to Tolman or Taupau?

I generally do well but this season I have just done poorly. No real poor picks on my behalf I swear just guys under performing and inconsistent. Hopefully I will come home strong but I am currently in 7 000th place roughly. Hoping to finish in the Top 1 000.Pookus McFly wrote:Random wrote:I am glad you can't see my score.

Also I am definitely the guy that gives awesome relationship advice but when it comes to my own relationships I tend to shoot myself in the foot.

Yeah, pretty much everyone managed a mini break from the rigours of Fantasy coaching. I'm sure everyone missed my completely over the top use of emoticons to camouflage the fact I have NFI

Unless you have more pressing trades then it may be worth seeing how he goes. I flipped a coin between him and BLaw but still unsure myself.
I end up keeping him due to having better byes but a lot has changed in the past few days.

Hmmm hadnt thought of it like that. Arghhhh currently sitting on 18 trades, which from what i can tell is not many at all.
How much money will Lamb make at the low end? 100k at least??
Let's just put your 18 trades in perspective.
You have 7 players that absolutely, 100% guaranteed will be in your final 17.
If you use 2 trades to bring a cash cow in and out again, then 9 of your other 24 players are in it for the long haul.
Are you happy for that to happen?
What if one of them gets injured?
Are you playing H2H or overall this year. If H2H you'll also need to save trades for finals

No, I meant to PM Random about it but forgot. I doubt they will change it but did you want approach FanHub Random? Maybe explain we nominated the wrong League?

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 31
may be a dumb question but is there anything wrong with trading in friend now, as in paying a premium?
thinking jdb & parcell to friend & i dunno ...maybe kbromwich or whatever 290k would get me

For every $980 spent he gives you 1 point, that is near the top of 'value' for money players in the game even at his current price
Doesn't tell you the full story but can't see him scoring any worse, plays close to 80mins, and a solid captain option with decent byes.
Yes you could have bought him cheaper earlier, but you pay for what you get in the end and have mitigated his '142k increase' via parcell's price rise anyways.
Looking at him next week as Parcell has another rise in him and have other issues to fix.
To be honest just don't want the Parcell headache anymore either so opting for a set and forget player

If you think he's going to keep scoring like that then aside from him not playing Round 12, then half ya luck! I have him in my Draft and has carried my team.
