Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 32
The week after Aloiai gets his best score and looks like actually making some good money he gets taken out of the game prematurely. Wonder if I should sell him for Asiata, probably not going to get great minutes even with Woods on Origin duty and will only start losing money now. At less than 190k in value after this week might need to get rid of him before he enters not worth it territory for selling.

So what do we think of Taylor? Got through a lot of work, however he didn't play 80 and that was with the Farah injury and a bit of a reshuffle. I still think he's worth it given what he scored in those minutes, without pretty much any attacking stats at all.

I really rate E. Taylor I think a lot of guys know that. With that said I wouldn't bring him in next week. One he played when his side suffered injuries with Sue ruled out before the match and Farah going off injured. So his minutes may not be an accurate representation. Two he was 30 odd points down on his BE which means he will lose cash and should have a rather high BE next week as well. Meaning he can be even cheaper and you can have a week to better appraise how he is going to score.Archer wrote:So what do we think of Taylor? Regarding him getting 0 attacking stats at all, he isn't someone who will get those often. The bloke is solid in middle and a tackling machine, so I wouldn't pin my hopes on him getting attacking stats often to increase his scores dramatically. With that said if Ballin comes in next week for the Tigers and rotates with Halatau and Taylor gets big minutes again he will definitely be a serviceable 40-50 point player each week which is valuable over the bye round. I just think with Jason Taylor there and the injuries his minutes are still left up in the air and he can still drop in price. I would love for him to play massive minutes from now on, hell give him 80 minutes every week.

Cheers Random, appreciate the insight.
Yeah fair call on the BE, probably will wait off given the inability to use this week to judge his prospects. The attacking comment wasn't that I thought he'd get TB's or LBA's or something. It's more that NRLstats.com had him down for 2 runs over the entire game. A couple more runs and perhaps he gets an offload for the game, or a few more meters. It all adds up.

Yeah, I was just about to post this. I watched the Knights press conference and Browny said they suspect it's broken.

That's unlucky for J. Saifiti who has really done well this year. Well I suppose Bhana benefits from this.

Hopoate really would of scored well today. Still have him but might get rid for Leilua who should decimate the Warriors next week.

I am hoping so. I traded out Saifiti a few weeks ago, and have Bhana now. But who knows what the Knights will do.
Bhana didn't do too badly today, considering the game, so if he can make me some cash for a few more weeks I'll be happy.

Brown might feel the need to shake things up a bit after the past 2 rounds, though not sure if there is anybody left to call up
Was holding Saifiti for r12, guess that won't work out too well now.
Thinking the bye rounds are going to kill a lot of teams with all these recent injuries

Leilua will probably go up about $50k in price this week.

I have both so I'm hoping both get a couple of tries each. In my h2h Fergusson has to score 60 odd to win which just won't happen unless I get good updates & it brings it done to under 50 & then there's a slight chance.

I have enough in the bank to cover his price rise.

Okay, cool. I guess I just consider him a bit of a risky player to pay over 400k for. But I've had him from the start and sat through his hopeless first 6 rounds, with sin-binnings, suspensions and all scores in the 20s and 30s. But he does look like a completely different player in the last few weeks. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 32
How is everyone going this week?
I am on 849 (Expecting B. Barba to update to push me over 850. I also have A. Fifita, M. Mbye, K. Holland to update as well.)
I have J. Hastings and L. Mitchell so hoping I can get close to 950 points for this week. The only poor score coming from K. Holland when I could have played M. Aubusson.)

Leilua is a mix between Mansour & Taukeiaho. But since you asked nicely I won't
