please, we get no more favours from them than any-one else (see Thurston & Scott shoulder-charges non-penalised, taumalolo tackling gillett from behind our dummy half, again no penalty, a thousand granville forward passes not called & roberts getting penalised for passing off the ground, despite us getting no advantage from the Cowboys knock-on they had just called 6 again on), the only reason we have that reputation is because you sour-pusses hate us so much that you go looking for a self fulfilling prophecy every time we play, acting like it's the greatest injustice in the world when a call goes our way, then saying 'serves them right' when it doesn't.

Don't forget the short turn around (only 6 days) as quoted by Pieday and that you had to play Friday night. Surely both of those can go down as more excuses.

way to put words in my mouth hero, if i was using those as excuses i would've mentioned them in my little post-game rant, only brought them up because I keep hearing the refs are Broncos in disguise, but if that were the case & I were Paul White, I'd be asking for my money back because they do a piss poor job of it.

Awesome job, Honeysett. Love the part about Cam Smith Smile
And for the record, Cronulla and Manly is also a grand final replay - remember the Sharks have been in grand finals too! Razz

game was enjoyable, no where near the quality of round 4 but we couldn't expect another game like that

i thought the cows looked frantic all night, their back 3 made simple errors, their rLeft side D was atrocious and their attack feel apart even when they had alot of ball. with the injuries the broncos dealt with in the second half and the fact the cows seem to have much more of the possession most of the night, the fact they won by 2 anthony milford unlikely to happen again was pretty surprising

They just blew so many chances, broncs scrambled incredibly well and just went about their business all night, honestly came away much more impressed with the broncs then the cowboys

will say, that broncos right side D had no injuries and if Kane linnet knew how and when to pass, he would have at least 3 try assist.

Jordan Rankin was offside there anyway, why the fuck is it a penalty for taking out an offside player?!

    Short turn around.

On the plus side the $3Million dollar bunker was forever in your favour. My $49 a month foxtel package saw it differently

Is Ayshford the worst player to play regular first grade in the NRL era? Discuss.

Ayshford might not be very talented, but he is heaps more effective than most of the big name centres each week.

He literally got run around/over by 2 different Raiders players to score and then gave them a third try by dropping a pass into Lee's arms. Sure, they would have lost anyway without those 18 points. But he is putrid.

picking aiden guerra is gonna be like QLD picking mcqueen in 2014, mcqueen deserved his spot in 13' but fell of a cliff in 14'. guerra has been equally as bad all year (we'll counter it with some bad selections no doubt!)

that effort on the jrey try was tony williams esque

Yeah mante totally agree, hes been average.
Napa would have made the team this year for sure if he wasnt banned.

It's a shame he wont be picked because he's the one guy who has really stood up and you get the feeling he'd go even better in Origin. I can't wait to see him and Klemmer going at it at origin for 5-7 years. Personally I think our prop situation is a bit thin. Scott and McGuire are both in good form, but Myles certainly isn't. You'd think Papalii, Thaiday and Parker will play a bit of that prop role, but they're not specialist props by any means.

He won't be, and I might be laughed at a bit, but I'd actually have no problems at all with selecting Ben Hannant off the bench to play exactly the same role as he does with the Cowboys. I think he's been great this year and even though Myles will be there and always plays his best games in Origin, he will add zero from the bench, and I don't think he deserves a starting spot over McGuire. I feel he will start though, with McGuire coming off the bench and playing well like he did in the test.
