I've finally come to realise some Warriors fans are delusional. It's a shame cause there are quite a few of them and it reinforces some really bad habits within the club. I've heard so called Warriors fans lately saying that to serve our problems we need to ditch Mannering and SJ and bring in Hurrell and a couple muppets. At least the management seem to be cleaning up a bit of the mess though!
Facebook comments remind me how dumb some people are.
The amount of people wanting to drop Johnson is mind-boggling. Many of these are the same people who think McFadden should've been sacked and Hurrell playing first grade.
One of my favourites said "What's next, will the sack Manu? Ha!"
Funny thing is as far as I'm aware, Manu is being shopped around and will be gone before June 30th too.

Nah - it would have been from the board members - you know how they go with Third Party Agreements.

I think the Warriors need to have a player clean out & start from scratch. Get in a new group of players with high work ethics. Players in the mould of a Heighington, Finucane. Get rid of these bludgers who are a cancer that spread their lazy half ass habits throughout the team to the younger players. And by a new group of players I mean non New Zealanders.

What's the deal with Norman? Does he get stood down awaiting trial or only if he's actually found guilty?
EDIT - sorry, just read posts on last page reporting Eels say he'll play

We have to understand that most rugby league players are as my father says "are as thick as a 4 by 2". The older generation of players did far worse but were not scrutinised to the extent that the modern players are. And then I watch & listen to these ex players who are now part of the media waffle about it but were they any better themselves.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 34
Warriors still have players that put in the work and don't go around posting videos or getting caught doing stupid things outside of the club.
Ben Henry has always been one of those players/leaders who I would love the club to be built around however his knees haven't held together for more than a few weeks at at time.
Matulino will get another chance. Vete looks like he's on the outer. Lisone, Sipley and players of their ilk are the future.
I find it interesting that the number one team in the comp's halves combination are two former Warriors halves. Actually enjoying seeing them go well but I wish we could gel as a team as well as Cronulla have this year., even with their own off-field dramas.

The problem that the Warriors have is that no quality player in his right mind would sign for the Warriors unless they were paid overs. The kind of player they end up with is a guy like Hoffman who is useless & over the hill. Fair enough they signed SKD but that was an anomaly.

Yeah it's a shame because there are players that really try their hearts out. I feel really sorry for Benry re his injuries. Lisone is awesome when he hits the ball up & Sipley is a future superstar. I just wish Matulino would just grab the ball & run straight & hard like he use to a couple of years ago because over the last couple of years he's been doing this airy fairy crap. I always feel sorry for Mannering as he always has to do his job plus cover other people. SJ will come right but like all halfbacks he relies on his forwards dominating. I like Kata, Bodene, Fusitua, Maumalo & Allwood.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 34
Worked out the team I could/should have after Round 19. I should have enough cash to do this as have made so much from cows but would be left with only 4 trades for the run in, but with ET and Aitken as 18th and 19th man hopefully mitigating that.
It won't happen but getting wet looking at it.
CS9 Friend
JGraham JBrom Fifita JTrbo
Surgess Mannering Whitehead (ET, BHenry, 130)
SJ DCE Thurston (Feeney)
Leilua Tohu/Dugan (Aitken, 130)
Tedesco Mitchell Munster (Scott, Hughes)
Of those, I'll pick up DCE and Ted next week (maybe a week later for Ted) then only Friend, Fifita, Thurston and Tohu/Dugan to bring in.

I think I will hold Norman. Can't see him being stood down before his day in court, and if that isn't until mid July, which is going into round 19 (the exact week I was planning to sell him anyway). If anything this news has bolstered me to hold.
*shouts out to other Norman owners*
"Hold, men! Hold steady! Hooooooooooooold!"
