The official Canberra site says he is being rested this week. Read into that what you will. he wasn't named for Mounties, so wasn't outright dropped.

Gee Pauli Pauli with a BE of -22, if he bangs out a 60 he could rise $70K this week alone.

It's getting to the point in the season were you should have a plan for your remaining trades though and it'll be tough to cash him out if your running low.Honeysett wrote:Gee Pauli Pauli with a BE of -22, if he bangs out a 60 he could rise $70K this week alone.

If you pick up Pauli just remember he still has two byes to go.
That being said, IF he stays I think he'll make ~100k between now and 19 when you need him as a cash out.
Is anyone else considering him?

The cash isn't worth the trades for me with Pauli, more importantly the Knights have their byes on the 2 worst possible rounds.

As tempting as he is, Pauli just doesn't fit my strategy.

I'm running low and only making the one trade this week with the intention of only getting in final 17.
Lamb -> Pearce.
Leaves me with halves of Hunt, Milf, Norman & Pearce.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 36
I'm going to cope a Feeney AE this week as I only have 1 playing centre.
Not sure its worth making any trades to correct it, as the centre I want to trade out (Holland) is the only one actually named.
Are there any good $130ish centres playing this round. I can cash out a forward and bring S'ua into 2RF. That would be my only saviour

Im looking to trade Packer for a bottomed out gun/semi gun who will be good value during the remainder of the bye period. Two candidates so far are Wade Graham and SST. Graham is all but guaranteed 80 min but just isn't scoring well. SST is a gun but his minutes are a huge concern. Both have had a bye which is great. Thoughts?

Dammit - only got 14 starters this week. Plus Cam Smith. Was hoping Fensom would play or maybe even Curtis Scott.
First trade is Hastings > Pearce - seem to be a few people thinking of this one.
Second trade could be Fensom, Toutai or even Bowen out for someone who'll play. Has to be for someone decent though.
Options are Bowen > Addo-Carr or Gagai
or Fensom > Cordner/G Cooper/Taumalolo
That'll give me 16 plus Smith.

Graham has a history of coming good in the back half of seasons (or getting injured, 1 of the 2!). Tauks will be a rollercoaster with minutes but can still post a good score playing half a game. Based on current conditions I think I would go Tauks.

Haha seems to be a lot of love for the dog lover. Start seeing him mentioned a lot this arvo so will probably keep him locked in. With Norman on a bye don't really want to play Feeney this week
Fact he wasn't selected for origin straight up and a change of dynamics in the Roosters was worth waiting for.
HE has banged out a few good scores and Matterson keeps getting selected who doesn't kick, has good byes and a reasonable cost,2% ownership (POD) all puts ticks in my book.
Reynolds was another option but has origin and Hunt plays one less bye game,50k more and a high ownership.

Another thing about Graham is in previous seasons he was relied on a lot more to be a 'playmaker' due to the sharks not having any. Essentially he was the go to guy on attack.
With a complete overhaul in the backs and 2 decent halves he doesn't get as much ball and isn't the only option now in the sharks arsenal.
Still a good player and over his injury so worth a gamble but unfortunately better options out there.

Are people really considering Pearce and others over the likes of DCE?
