Cody Walker at FB seems to be working.
For those of us that held him, is this the 2nd or 3rd time he's been named there. DPP might be handy here.

When fanhub took over from virtual sports it was a fucken mess. Plenty of self admitted cheats trading after players played and changing reserves. Lost all integrity and they ended up creating a second comp a few rounds in and starting again. It was a mess.Rippin and Tearin wrote:
What happened in 2014??
Surely you aren't saying they won't fix this... i.e. there is a precedent set in 2014?
I would have thought if something similar happened a few years back then they would diva learnt form that and at the very least figured out a way to reverse anything that wasn't done within the rules.
Disappointing if that is the case.

rhinoceroo wrote:On the plus side, it's the second last game of the round, trades are hard to reverse, and James is expensive so you'd need plenty of spare coin too. And even after those conditions have been met, you've got to me a massive fucken cheat.
I think it's unlikely that more than a handful traded James in illegitimate, and they should be easy to find and reverse/ban.
A lot of people would have had Ma'u so could have traded him without having much cash in the bank.
So am I right in understanding that some people were able to both reverse trades AND make trades that involved players that should have been locked (from todays two games)??

Massive point there Chuck! Will have the old well I was trying to trade James/Burgess in for Grant etc. WillChucky wrote:There will be a lot of people who tried to make trades or even substitutes prior to both of today's games but couldn't due to the site being down.
They will think they are justified in doing it on the sly.
Fanhub have a very difficult job ahead.
Be tough to prove otherwise

The play got called back after video evidence found nathan brown interfere with a potential blocker. which was a rough call but it was clear enough. game goes into 2nd phase of overtime for the titans to have the first shot at field goal with taylor nailing it from about 35 metres out. You turned it off too early!

The scores are on nrl.com. James 119 & McInnes 86. Unbelievable scores in that game.

Yeah but that's just shit luck for a few people - I mean that sincerely.
But the opposite situation, people blatantly cheating, means every single person that followed the rules gets shafted relative to those that cheated.
There's not much that can be done about the former, hence its shit luck, but the later is blatant cheating and affects everyone that played the game fairly and I would have thought not be that difficult to sort out. Time consuming, but not impossible to do.

The only way it would be considered a rough call is because it's the first time someone has been penalised for it.pm888 wrote:

It was a penalty every day of the week and should happen more often.

OK, so a similar situation to today, but for a whole round every player could be traded post their lock out?

I don't understand how it all works mate but surely they can just filter any trades made after the Titans/Souths ko time involving players involved in that game? It's tough luck I agree on the legit trade ins but surely if you really wanted the trade you would do it earlyRippin and Tearin wrote:

Im by no means a Sir Winny Red part 2, but i havent and will never loophole. Like all other aspects of the game, picking ur captain b4 thw round is part of the skill educated guessing i love so much. Hopping off my Capt to another mid round because of a loophole takes out some of the fun of it for me.

Whether you agree with it or not, loophole is part of the rules.
Trading players after they have locked out (or shoul dhave locked out) is not.
Just going to be another shit show though. Everyone will be keeping a close eye on the top few teams this week to see if anyone was 'lucky' enough to trade James in.
