Evans named at Lock for the 1st time.  He plays the next 2 big bye rounds.  He is a cheap option that could potentially average 40-45 if he stays at Lock.  My personal thought is that his PPM is going to nose dive, but that doesn't matter if he gets 50-60 minutes.  Purely on points v price with him starting at Lock, he could be a steal, or a MASSIVE regret.
Hmm.... I haven't really looked at Evans but you've put some very tempting info out there.

I was tempted but I have that feeling I would regret it. I held him longer than most but managed to get rid of him before that 16. Nothing to lose for those who still have him, and at 270k he's a steal IF he gets the minutes and keeps the starting spot.

The big lanky fuck is good to watch when he is in a mood too.

My only comfort is that I recently wrote my team, potential trades and bye rounds into notepad (I thought it looked more like I was doing work to a casual observer) so I can still theory craft.

I wouldn't be taking a punt on Evans this late in the season, he has already been a big disappointment from what was expected by many at the start of the year, going to end in tears I reckon

Can understand the lack of time. I certainly don't have anywhere near what I used. Almost didn't enter this year and I travel and get out and enjoy my life a lot more often!

Between now and the end of the year I'm probably only going to Queensland and Sydney/NZ I think if I'm lucky.

Here is some promising news for you Filth.

I want to keep DCE for the run home and I'm running low on trades.
Reckon I'm better off holding and instead selling Lamb for Tedesco and playing Barba in the halves, or sell both Tolman and DCE for Fifita and Tedesco?

Would mean Barba starts for me in the halves but $130k banked for an upgrade.

Have you tried accessing the site through a website which translates pages? I remember bypassing certain blocked pages at uni by doing this because technically you're still on a different website. Thought it may be worth a try

How any trades left mate? I have Barba in the halves at the moment and it has worked well for byes (gave me a 2nd half last week). The last option is pretty awesome if you are just aiming to get your final team together asap and not thinking about byes at all.

Going good mate. Can you believe we got back home from traveling America for our honeymoon on the day the first NRL game of the season kicked off! She still thinks I planned it.

Put a team together in all the comps a couple of hours before the first lockout. I did miss out on the fanatics overall league though which is a shame after being last years sportal leagues champion. ST won't let me in haha I thought he was soft?!

I think you should come back to Fantasy next year.

Good stuff DK. I'm with Mrs DK. I think you planned it. Wink

Please say hi to huaaa/blahhh from me if you get a chance (hope he remembers me).

I won't be playing NRLF while VSDT still exists. I'm still playing DT in the same private league that I've been in since I first started playing DT in 2009. It's a good bunch of average Joes (who ARENT in any of the online fantasy groups) and yet our league is in the top 20 atm, which is awesome.

I don't know if you remember, but the reason I don't like playing in more than one NRL fantasy comp at the same time is because I get a bit confused/mixed up because of how the CFS affects my memory, so it has to be one or the other for me.

I DON'T like NRLF for a number of reasons, but the main thing I CAN'T handle is prices changing after only one game. Trying to keep up with that from week-to week can stress my CFS-affected brain, and so it's NOT enjoyable. My son also dislikes NRLF and prefers to play VSDT, so I'm with him.

What NRL fantasy games are you playing these days DK?

P.S. It was SI (not me, ST) who wouldn't let you into the FF leagues this season. lolo

I have 13 trades left. Tolman and Fifita both play the same amount of games from now to rd19 so I'm not losing much there. Although I would probably be better off holding Tolman and then upgrade for rd19 which would give me that extra game

Haha actually sneaked this info a month or two ago and was hoping I could be the one to break it when he actually signed because let's be honest, no one actually cares about Sio to report anything of it before he signed, right? Guess I was wrong.

    But anyway

IMMINENT SUPER KENNY SIO RETURN CONFIRMED!!!

13 is not so bad. I was thinking more with Ted if he plays Origin. Would mean he only plays 3 of the next 6 if Daley gives him a cockroach shell.

If I don't get teddy then my next option is SJ but I'm not entirely confident seeing his name in my team

I looked at that but who do you have at cover for fullback. I have gambled on Cleary holding the fort until DCE is back
    Lamb to Cleary?
I mean it is kind of waste costing you a trade for 50k but gives you a cash out who could potentially score alright and be useful later on in the season if he plays well?

Bugger, that means I need to pick a reserve out of Bateman, Auvu'a, Gutherson, Cleary.

I'm thinking Cleary, who could well be a dead set gun.
