Just thought I would check in to the inevitable 2016 Premiers thread, mainly to wish you all a Happy New Year but also to pass on the good news that I am back at work now and as such will be once again taking time out of my busy schedule to provide invaluable Rugby League insight for the masses.

How many rounds do you think it will take for Roberts to find his groove or do you think he will fire from the get go?

Does he play on Hodges side or not, can't remember.

Bennett said he will be slotting straight into Hodges spot. Pretty sure he did play the same side at the Titans then again I could be wrong?SI wrote:Does he play on Hodges side or not, can't remember.

Same sides and in terms of your previous question, I suspect it will take some time for Roberts to slot in to our style of play.....always does.
I'll probably start getting concerned if he hasn't gelled after about 5 games or so though.

Broncos will score a lot of their points from inside their own half this year with guys like Milford, Roberts and Hunt. Makes up for not having an attacking fullback.

Despite the facade it's fairly evident that Honeysett loves the Broncos.
I can understand why too because our absence from the comp (along with the other good teams) gifted the Knights their 97 premiership.

It was your mob that left to go to a comp that would allow your massive salary cap and then you haven't changed your ways since. Took the big money and the easier comp and did everything you could to avoid Joey.

Maybe if the Knights fulfilled the contract that Boyd signed he may have tried harder.
Or do you think coming back from a torn achilles that players should be at their best straight away?

Boyd chose to leave the club, he used his built in clause that he can quit the club if Bennett isn't coaching. He's not an attacking fullback on his best day, excellent positional fullback but not an attacking one.

If Broncos don't win the comp I will leave this forum forever.
