Am I correct in assuming undrafted players based on 2015 ADP get taken in the 15th round if they get decided on as a keeper?

You are correct, and if you have multiples, then the 14th, 13th... and so on.  And welcome.

Inqui... I didn't know that the NFL site wouldn't allow evenings (for us) on the weekends too.  Sheesh... I get that their main market is Nth America, but come on.  I think an offline draft is our best bet, as long as you can handle the bother of inputing it at the end.  I can help out with prodding people to draft!  An offline draft we could begin... well... any time.

    My thoughts from the league page;

Brohemian Rhapsody: Id rather not offline, just because its a lot of leg work for commish and relies on high amounts of activity, which 12 people, all with jobs and lives might struggle to hit. 180 picks over 3 weeks (at best) is 9 picks a day... can we be sure that 9/12 people can be online once a day, every day, considering if you can only get on in the AM and its your pick in the PM, thats a 12 hour hold up until you get online, just on 1 pick. Just my thoughts, and if the call is to go offline ill more then happily participate.

Brohemian Rhapsody: And having said that - ive got an excel sheet i put together, mostly out of boredom, which lists the draft order, keepers, their rounds, remaining picks, projects which players go when based on picks not being used for keepers... all that stuff. Ill happily share with anybody who wants it for themselves, or the commish, because it would make the job of tracking an offline draft super easy.

Correct - and just say you have 2 players with an ADP in the 6th round, itll cost you a 5th and a 6th to get both of them. Or if youve got no 5th from previous trades, itd be a 4th and a 6th.

Yeah, like I say it's shutting out probably the most productive half of the day for the entire Asian market, which I agree is kinda ridiculous but what do I know.

Like I said on the discussion page, I've heard back from the nfl.com team and it looks like 3pm Sydney is the latest we can do (sigh). That basically means we're either having an offline draft or pretty much sticking to the Sunday script. I'm happy to do the leg work for an offline draft (famous last words I know), and the upside is that it'd give everyone more options and it'd be easier to respond if something happens in preseason or the training camps. But the downside is that one or two people dragging their feet can hold the whole thing up in the worst way. If anyone else has a thought on what they'd prefer, now's the time to say something.

I know a run on a few RB's or QB's can sometimes can the landscape of a draft and it's tough to see what's happening when the draft isn't live but if its offline Can you not set up a queue of autopicks after your pick? Or set up some stalls when most can get on and bang out a few rounds at a time?

Give a time limit. Once you exceed that, you get BPA - based on this year's ADP.

I did this a few years ago with a basketball draft. As GM, guys sent me a list as to who they would want.

Yeah, I was going to do a 24- or 18-hour limit (12 hours would be better still, but might be a little restricting). One rule possibility I've worked with is that if you get more than one skip you get that time limit reduced. BPA probably works better than the alternative I had in mind.

Sending in a wishlist does wonders for the flow of things, especially for people picking in the middle of the round. You don't even have to send in that big a list either.

Nice getting 1 nailed on and 1 fringe 1st rounder in the 2nd and 5th!

I'm still undecided on my 4th!

    OBJ - R2
    Mark Ingram (R3)
    Jordan Reed (R14/15)

Either Bell (R1) or Tavon Austin (R15)

Yeah, I figure I already (well... probably) have my RB1/RB2 lined up. Ajayi could well be #3, or a bust. Who knows at this point? But, as a flier in the final round - worth it. I think Lockett's incredible value at that position too.

My only worry about Lockett is turning into a Harvin clone but he looks better than that! Wilson was unbelievable down the stretch last year and Locketts decent second half made Baldwin look like Julio on times, can't go wrong with him that late, same could happen with Austin, Lockett is lucky he has an elite QB throwing to him and not a rookie

Think I will run Bell as the final keeper because picking 6th I aint getting anyone with the upside he possesses and Beckham and Ingram are steals in the 2nd and 3rd, Reed in the 15th is just theft

Surely we need to give people enough notice of the start to get their keepers locked... last I checked 2 or 3 teams hadnt done it...

The NRL draft _last_ season turned into a clusterfuck because they just said one Friday arvo, we're starting this weekend, and a couple of people (me included) missed it and got booted altogether.

I agree with giving a little more notice. Unless there's more opposition to an offline draft (I assume you're alright with that option?) I was thinking of putting the call out tomorrow for a Thursday or Friday draft, with keepers to lock the day before. I think only two people have yet to lock in keepers at all, but I think everyone (including said two) at least has a good idea of who they want.

Are we 100% decided on an offline draft now? If it's on the weekend and on a time suitable for you guys over in AUS and NZ to run an online draft I don't mind getting up early hours uk time to make sure I'm there for it

I wouldn't mind giving the offline a chance - and see how it goes. I agree with Inqui/ryno about when to lock keepers - probably best to shoot a group email from nfl.com, then no-one can argue they weren't notified.
