Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 49
I'm wondering - whatever the teamlists - whether Bellamy would rather finish second for a home tie against Canberra than first for one against the Cowboys or Broncos. I'm not confident of Smith or Cronk playing this week.

I can't remember where I heard it, but I have heard talk that Bellamy is against resting players for the sake of it, as the lost momentum caused by missing a week and then trying to get back on top is not worth any gain from a player putting an extra 80 minutes in.

Tricky Sticky has named an unchanged lineup against the Tigers which means if he is going to rest any players he'll do it at the last minute.

Boyd Cordner being out is a big blow for me in my NearlyNRL grand final this weekend. AT least I have no Raiders players to be worried about as late withdrawals

Last trade SJ out JT in?
Or will SJ go nuts in a final round hurrah now that the pressure is off?

A graciousness, respectful exit given to a wonderful player that has provided so much entertainment over the years.Bren wrote:Marshall named. Massive surprise.
If the team was battling for a place in the finals it may have been a different story.

has to be SJ. He's busted and playing on one leg.KiwiWarriors wrote:Who to cut out of Cartwright, Hunt, SJ or Cleary?
His end to the season is bringing his price down nicely to consider him being one of the first selected in next years fantasy team.

Who is this Bundah Boys who dares to face the tyranny of The Pookie Dookies in the L6 final this week?

That's jelejasof mate. Not sure who I want to win in L6. I've done the sums and looked at the POD's and it comes down to this:Pookus McFly wrote:Who is this Bundah Boys who dares to face the tyranny of The Pookie Dookies in the L6 final this week?
jelejasof: quiet achiever and deadset genuine all round nice guy
Pookus: enviable grasp of the English language and quirky sense of humour
Can't separate you both!
...mainly because I'm a soft cock and don't like upsetting people...
...unless you are B/L. That guy is a racist!

i'm with you, SI- I think that as long we both me and jelejasof remember to have fun, we will both be the winners
I'm actually more preoccupied about keeping my 16th position in the overall league, for that sweet L1 assurance next season. But I have Bren only 42 points below me kungfu chopping on my heels. And in the end- wouldn't we all agree that the game of NRL Fantasy has never been about winning or losing, scores or ranks, but simply- beating Bren?

Frankly I was surprised you didn't keep on rolling through the eliminator to take that out

I'm going to confess something, I'm pretty annoyed the way the eliminator was run.
I was under the impression that we were using golf rules and the lowest score wins.

All jokes aside I set up the Eliminator with all the rules and regulations so it is fair for all. Regarding the Leagues for next year you do realize there are several people in the Ex-Sportal League above you that may join the Fanatics Leagues next year in turn pushing you down into L2. For real.
Your L1 dream is over
