All jokes aside I set up the Eliminator with all the rules and regulations so it is fair for all. Regarding the Leagues for next year you do realize there are several people in the Ex-Sportal League above you that may join the Fanatics Leagues next year in turn pushing you down into L2. For real.
Your L1 dream is over
I never cast the joke aside. But fair to say, I don't really care about L1- I just saw you were 17th and I was 16th, so I was making the top 16 the cool-kid cut off. You caught me, what with your serious disposition and all. But I would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for you meddling kids.

Just with this mate, and it is something we would need to discuss when we ramp up again next year, but I think everyone in the Official League this year should get preference for positions in L1, and probably L2 as well.Bren wrote:Pookus McFly wrote:

So if Pookus finishes 16th or better, he would automatically have the option of being in L1 as he is a part of the Official League.
Anyway, something for you and I to discuss in the preseason.

What the hell happened to Cordnor? Must have missed something. He's in my work draft league that I'm in the finals for. Gonna have to put in Finucane or I can pick up Papali or take punt on Barnett. Also got BJ in the same team and who knows what's gonna happen there.

CJ on Sportal used to anagram my "standard issue" moniker as "a retards undies".
Whilst not a true anagram, it was a pretty decent effort for a bloke who couldn't count passed 12. Even with his shoes off.

I miss the leagues one year and it looks like it is going to take years to get back to league 1. Would have been in it this year and i think my current rank would have me make it next year if not for this possible rule you talk about.

A bit to work through yet DK, and this new rule isn't set in stone yet.DarkKnight wrote:ASI wrote:

As you can appreciate though with you having organised the Leagues with ST back in 2010/2011 (?), it's a mammoth task. There HAS TO BE a cut off time for the Leagues so we have the full compliment in each one before 1st lockout; and that rule was actually introduced because of your exact situation in 2015-you got shafted out of having your name on the trophy because we entered someone after the cut off. So the simple fix was to not allow posters to enter the Overall League after 1st Lockout. Unfortunately, because you missed the cut off the following year it fucked you over . That is just a ridiculous and coincidental irony.

Good matchup with BourbonBrothers in the L5 elimination final. Think we have two different players so should be close. Ditto versus The Beagles in Welshy's league. One point off the top (The Projectiles) in the smaller overall group though, and that's the one I really want...

Sorry guys, if this rubbish idea goes ahead, it will be the final straw, and I would quit the forum over it.
Although I could probably convince my cousin, aaMilchcow to sign up.
