If my phone is correct I think I've won the eliminator. 25th overall, not a bad year.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 49
Well played all, finished 9th overall. I have a feeling that'll be my best for a looong while. very happy with being in the top ten (and running out of trades in week 20, got lucky this year with the run home). also missed out on winning the eliminator, so congrats projectiles you had a better team.
This forum has been awesome for over analysing everything, getting late mail, stressing me out over every trade, and keeping me busy. cant wait for preseason next year
girlfriend will be stoked now, i wont get pissed off everytime i check my phone and james has scored a try. too many times i got unnecessarily angry in the middle of the day. cheers all

The final Carter Award for the year is another tie with both recipients playing 80 minutes and scoring a -20 in that time. Congratulations to Matt Gillett and Mitchell Moses for their pathetic efforts this week.

Congratulations Scouter on the Eliminator win, here's your trophy, download it, print it, then sleep with it, whatever floats you boat.

I call it bullshit, you'll be back, and thanks for doing a terrific organising job of everything this year.

Looks like L5 has gone to Bourbon. Also the bridesmaid in the Roosters group - second there so miss out on the vouchers. Should have picked a dumber club.
But first in the Fanatics group, and 21st overall after being about 9,000th in my first go last year. Onwards and upwards...
Congrats there Rhino, was a crazy end to a tough comp in League 5.
Thanks to everyone else in this league as well, every week was a challenge.

well done Scouter, Projectiles and everyone else. Good seasons all around. The talent pool is definitely acheiving better over all than we did in the past.
Happy to scrape through with a win in L2. Updates were kind!
So... match day finals and what-not now?
In non-fantasy news after watching the Warriors yesterday, I am more than happy to not see them play as a team for six months. :@

Thumbs up to everyone who contributed in this forum and gave us a place for Fantasy addicts to get their fix.
Pacey for providing the late mail team lists and being the go to place for all my final team list checks.
And of course not to forget all the page 51 fun times.
Whats Sportal again ? This is a million times better, cheers all

Awesome year boys. Just want to thank all the mods and forum members for a great NRL Fantasy season.
On a personal note. I finished 262nd overall. Pretty happy with that, having finished 13000th+ last year in my first year. My aim this year was top 2k. Exceeded my expectations immensely. Will try and play a little more strategic next year with trades, as I was out of trades by round 20.
As I said thanks to everyone... I'll lurk from time to time until next year... Can't wait!

Where'd you end up finishing mate? No more fantasy for the year for me + back at work today after my holiday. Pretty much nailing a shit day but got a game of ultimate later on at least. First game for the season, what's the bet I break my ankle or something haha.
14 more pages til we get our last page 51 party for the year, can we do it?

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 49
Havent been on here much over the last month but good to read a few of the boys finishing up high in the rankings.
I wasnt able to defend my L1 title (warriors defence put pay to that) pipped in the final by rammrod.
Finished the season ranked 129 which beats last years rank of 132 but well down on my best ever finish (7th in 2014)

360. It's a rank I can remember at least. Was 207th after Round 23 but my Trousers just couldn't put it all together from then and a couple of POD Captain choices, which I don't regret to be honest. Finsihed with a trade in hand. Will be going down the "save a shitload in the bank" route again next year I reckon after having $480k still available at 1st lockout.
Looks like Townsville turned the weather on for you

Even before this year I couldn't think of a more consistent performer than you. From memory you were right up there in 2013 as well?

Pretty anti-climatic win in my H2H final, and that's how I like them. 891 to 782. Poor bastard only lost one game all year until the big one.
I could be wrong, but I'm sure Fifita and Gallen were scored at 55 and 65 resp. after Saturday's updates, then changed to 57 and 63 in last night's. I had both, so didn't affect me, but probably fucked with a few people.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 49
Well i went from knowing nothing about the NRL at the beginning of the season to knowing almost every single player along with their strengths and weaknesses. I also got my mum into NRL Fantasy which she is now addicted to, every conversation we have is now exclusively about NRL and how great she is doing in her H2H league.
Thanks to my clueless first few rounds i have ended with a terrible overall rank but that just means i will be forced to tear everyone up from the lower leagues.
