Also Taumololo hey. Make him pay for any damage and a car wash every fortnight for a year for the affected cars and move on. Pretty stupid position to put himself in though, especially in finals week.

NRL Finals Week 1
Who you got? I'm going with Broncos, Raiders, Dogs and Cowboys. Lots of matches that could go either way.

SI... We are meant to name who we think will win, not who will lose.
Unless you really think the Tits will win

Re: NRL Finals Week 1
Broncos 1-12, Raiders 13+, Storm 1-12, Panthers 13+.
As a Knights fan I can't remember the last time I got excited about the finals.
Even when we hit the prelim final I wasn't excited.
I'm on the Raiders/Panthers bandwagon but I think the GF is Storm V Cowboys with Storm winning.

Agree with every prediction, except I think the Bulldogs will jag a temporary form reversal. Storm vs Cows (Storm) just has that feel about it

Yeah hard to look past the favourites and the home ground advantages this week but having said that I wouldn't be surprised if any of the matches was won by the underdog.
By the way, how come there isn't a fence sitting emoticon?

sharks/raiders has me stumped, everything points to canberra but i don't think cronulla were as bad as the score suggest last week, Storm executed much better but sharks were fairly dominant at times (and blew a few tries). i think if cronulla plays like that again, they most likely turn it into more points, cronulla in a tight one

Looks like it might be a wet one up here tonight mate and not confident of a Titans pummeling at the hands of my mob.
Probably plays into the hands of the Titans if anything but I'll take Broncos 1-12.

i see both tonight's and Sundays game being pretty good contest for a while before the 2 favorites run away with it, broncs will take control just before half time and never look back, penny will starting laying it on us mid way through the 2nd half
The score in each game may not reflect the contest, which is often the case in finals, teams often fall apart once the game (and season) are gone

So excited for tonight. Hope Milf and Roberts show the Tits how its done. Looks like it will be a little bit slippery out there tonight.

Milf to light it up, Roberts to go on one decent run and leave it at that.Bren wrote:So excited for tonight. Hope Milf and Roberts show the Tits how its done. Looks like it will be a little bit slippery out there tonight.

Don't know why the Fox commentators are saying the Broncos were lucky with the penalty try. It's been the rule for about 10 years.

Re: NRL Finals Week 1
The Mead tackle in the air call was a shocker, as was not penalising Roberts for the kick, but the refs were okay the rest of the night.
