Nofoaluma had a big year that I doubt he'll replicate. I think next year might also be the year that I dont start with Smith.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 50
At this point I am more likely to start with Smith
This year he reversed a slight downwards trend in output that had been going on over the past few years.
Also, other than Jake Friend, all the other premium hookers that could match him seem to have suffered worse than Smith. Farah, Seggy, Peats don't inspire me with heaps of confidence for next year. Maybe McCullough might be alright, but SMith offers a reliability not found elsewhere
Then take a punt on Farah, or McInnes/Cook/Liddle as 2nd hooker

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 50
I am going to be honest, I didn't think Honeysett's comment was that bad. Unless I missed something entirely..
@Milchcow, don't think Peats will end up playing 80 minutes? With Mortimer and Srama likely not being there next year, Friend retiring. Roberts may be an option on the bench, but hopefully Peats would slot into the 2nd Row for some time then.
Is Segeyaro signed anywhere for next year? Though I do see your point regarding the HoK position.

Peats might be an option for next year, at this point he is a no from me. But plenty of time for things to happen to change my mind.
Just because Morts/Friend/Srama are leaving doesn't mean that the Titans will have no possible hookers. There will still be someone around to give him a rest if that's what they want.

Where's Srama going?
Could be a bit of value there.

He hasn't signed anywhere for next year yet, so Titans could still retain him. I see him heading to the SuperLeague though.

Any thought's on Farah at Souffs? Will he share minutes? Does he have the potential to get back to his former glory now that the love/hate Taylor relationship has been shelved or will he develop another one with Madge?

Who is going to be a no-go next year.
Drew Hutchison scored 64 in his only appearance this season, so even with a discount he's probably going to be too expensive for anyone to bother with, even if he secures a first grade spot.
I still foresee the early pre-season being full of people chucking him into their teams before everyone realises how expensive he is going to be (A bit like Damien Cook this year)
Ryan James scored a shitload of tries this year - even though he has stepped up a level in workload too, and cut back on some of the silly penalties, I still think he'll be a bit too expensive to be in my starting 17.
Anyone else have massive seasons that they aren't going to be able to replicate?
I can see a lot of hype around Arrow in preseason only for disappointment when he doesnt start at lock.
Will be the usual hype around Shaun Johnson in an improved warriors team.
Don't like Cleary at keeper prices. Too risky early.
Avoiding all volatile outside backs that had big years(Croker, Leilua, Munster, Walker, Mansour, Rapana etc)
